    Oxydrive kits

dear all, Andrew sent me all the new stuff (new controller, PAS, brake handles, display - I must say its the best support I've had from a company in a very, very long time and thank him for this, making this project work feels very significant to me). Now for the very big upside to the story -...

Using a lightweight generator to charge Bosch e-bike battery

i get where youre coming from but, for what it worth, i'd still go with at most an extra set of batteries and occasional stretches of non assisted cycling before taking on all of the palaver (and weight!)that seems necessary from posts here. at most i'd have a small solarpanel to power a tablet...

    Fast Legal Bike

strictly fo whatmy 2p is worth - having tried a few pedelecs (a woosh, kalkhoff and wildy overpowered homemade job) and having used ordinary bicycles (mainly carbon racers and a brompton) and having motorcyles before i realised that - for me - there is a kind of existential sweet spot - i label...

given a choice between lugging 10 tyo 15 kg of generator/solar panels/complex electronics with me & becoming obsessed with teh state of my battery AND severely cutting back teh level of my assistance and having a much lighter bike (im sure at a very low level of assistance on a relatively...

Thoughts on the 11 tooth cog

Thoughts on the 11 tooth cog

ive a b'twin triban with a 3 chainwheel front 8 cog rear setup(i replaced teh casette which now has an 11 tooth smallest cog rear) - it isnt (for now) a pedelec, though - but, for what its worth, i dont think teh retailer is right - i often had the largest chainwheel/smallest cog rear engaged...

Two birth camper can be towed by cycle

apologies for dredging up a very old post - I've become increasingly obsessed with taking a leisurely trip down France's Atlantic coast (its lovely), do any of you know of a more collapsible version of the wide path camper? alternatively (this may be seriously misguided) - how difficult can it...

    Dynamo...

as a somewhat tangent - look athe pics on this guy's blog - especially the teardrop fender design, so art deco/fifties/elegant its enough to make one want a dynamo light http://minisystem.blogspot.co.uk/

    Dynamo...

there's a thought, I remember sidewall dynamos decelerating a bike very usefully on a very steep downhill here, if there were a remote way to engage and disengage a sidewall dynamo it could save a lot of brake wear..
