    Birmingham Cycle Show

There will be many bikes to try Chr4! The test track has in the past been a bit timid, but at least you will be able to compare bikes on a "level playing field" :)

New here. Advice on up to £1K bike please. Folder or normal ok.

You could take a look at our LITE range of electric bikes. Upgrade the battery and still get a bike for less than £1000. The Halfords bike to work scheme takes a bigger percentage from retailers than other schemes, so not all suppliers are keen to support their scheme. So it becomes more...

    Help me Obi Wan kenobi....

Fret Not Dave - We're still here! Busy as ever. I tend not to post so much these days as I feel the forums are a little overwhelmed by the traders in their many guises. Looking forward to seeing friends at the NEC show this year. Do say hello and bring coffee...

    Keeping battery healthy

You may simply be seeing "voltage sag" on your display. When under load your battery output voltage will drop. So your display, which indicates the voltage output from the battery, will show a lower voltage (some lights out) going uphill or when accelerating, than when on the flat (when more...

    Need a very comfortable bike!

Hi Philippa At 5' 3" you'd be wise to try. We have riders at 5ft who are very happy with their Classics, but these things are all about confidence and "feeling right". In general, for road and trail, leisure use, it is always better to ride a bike with as large wheels as you can, without...

Sorry, but I had to share this...

We've had an excellent comment to an article posted to our Facebook page from one of our customers, Linda T on how to deal with the "isn't it cheating" heckle... Well worth a quick read of her response amongst other comments! I wish I had such a way with words...

    Need a very comfortable bike!

The most important advice from all above so far has been to "take a test ride". Try to find a retailer not too far away from you who stocks a variety of makes and who can let you try on a decent hill. You can find a map showing Juicy Bike electric bike retailers here, most of whom stock a good...

Hi Our stems are 27.5mm in diameter. Easiest way to measure is by using a caliper gauge, or failing having one, drawing around the existing stem and measuring across the circle drawn.

Some advice from you experts please!

J and I have Juicy Classic bikes, now 4 or 5 years old, which have proved reliable. They go up our local hills quite well, have throttles which assist taking off without wobbles at road junctions and traffic lights (and at walking speeds). If you're not too far from Warrington you're welcome to...

    Newbie in the Hills

Hi Phil Knowing the wheel size would help work out the likely range of the standard 10ah battery. A charge at work would keep a10ah battery / 26" wheel combination at less than 50% discharge, improving longevity. However a 20" wheel with the same battery would use just over 50% on each leg of...
