    Yosepower hub kits.

Been out a few times over the break on my MTB yosepower 350w rear conversion, really great fun hitting the trails, surprisingly agile and pulls well in level 5 assist. These really are great value, especially if you can use an ebay discount code. Just waiting for the 2nd Yose battery to arrive...

E-bikes are advancing fast - get the newest model of the best bike you can afford

The secret to reducing depreciation is to pay the very lowest you can for the bike when buying new. Then, sell it within the warranty period (so that the 2nd hand buyer has some assurance). See my post here, I reckon I've got depreciation down to about £100 per year on a new ebike...

    Yosepower hub kits.

Good to read this thread is still going strong. Just ordered a few days ago, when ebay had the 15% off voucher, a yosepower Hailong LG celled 10.4ah 36v battery at £141 delivered to go with my yosepower old school MTB 26" conversion (kit came with the yosepower 13ah battery). Ideal swap out to...

    New e-bike owner

Your bike, if I ever go to mid drive, is the one i would buy. You were very lucky to get the free upgrade, better spec and great solid rear rack. The perfect touring mile cruncher, and very reasonably priced, enjoy it!

    Commuting on a BBSHD: report

Hi Hobble, great read. I also have a MX Comp like you that I'm toying with the idea of converting. One concern I have is the very thin downtube thickness and the shape of the tubing on the MX Comp. Did you have any issues mountain the (large) downtube battery ? Does it sit well and did you...

    Yosepower hub kits.

Thanks all, great advice all round. Ideal would be as suggested, re-spoking the 26" kit into a 700c rim, but I've never built a wheel, and haven't the tools or the confidence to attempt it let alone end up with anything reasonably true.

    Yosepower hub kits.

Hi Guys, Already an owner of the 26" Yosepower kit with Hailong 13ah 36v battery, now thinking of converting a 700c hybrid bike I own with the same kit, however, the kit which includes the battery is only available with the wheel that takes a freewheel instead of a cassette. Therefore I would...

    First confrontation.

Don't worry about it. When they call you a cheater or whatever, just nod at them and say 'Yep!'...who gives a ** what they think, the saddo's. Some times I wish I lived in Germany

    Thoughts on Carrera Crossfire-E

I did 4500 miles on my previous crossfire-e, no noticeable wear on the front chainwheel, the lad who bought it off still running it fine. My current crossfire-e is 2k miles, chainwheel fine like new. I do clean and oil my chain and cassette every 6 weeks or so

    Winter Riding

Flooding and lashing down driving rain in my face on the commute home tonight. Fogged up cycling glasses perched on the end of my nose peering through a 1 cm gap lol. Dodging the over flowing drain covers. All lights on including helmet lights, no excuse for drivers not seeing me. Feel like a...

Carrera Crossfire E in the rain

The display is removable, as is the battery, take both with you (will also act as a theft deterrent). Put some silicon grease on the battery contacts in cradle and the connecting pins on the display/holder. The rest should be fine. I have ridden the bike in 4hrs of continuous rain once, and...

why is it so hard to find 28 rear wheel with hub motor which is legal on road

Great kit, I have the 26" version for a recent MTB conversion. Thinking of buying this 700c kit version for a sleek speedy commuter project with a new Boardman frame and carbon forks I have boxed up. Can double up on the battery too for both bikes

    36v Vs 48v

Interesting, I wasn't aware there is a risk of damage. I was thinking recently of pairing my yosepower 36v rear hub with a 48v battery and contoller for a bit more speed and torque for off road use, but don't want to risk damaging it, so will stick to the stock 36v battery

Anybody bought anything from Tredz recently?

SJS Cycles are great, superb prices on tyres, even after p&p they are hard to beat. These Energiser Pro's at £10.99 each are a cracking price https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/tyres/700-x-35-37622-schwalbe-energizer-pro-hs427-tyre-700-622/
