    Great tyres these, no punctures in nearly 3000 miles, great grip, low rolling resistance and hard wearing, whats not to like?. Plus the size I use are only about £11 each from SJS cycles

    Without trying to sound like a scratched record, the Crossfire-e will handle your commute easily, I too have the same distance and have to rush home 2 days a week of the 5, to pick up on school run, never once let me down. It'll also be as quick as any of the (restricted) bikes you have listed...

    I think you missed a trick here, you could of got the crossfire-e for about £680 on the C2W scheme (after benefit), I can't see the Oxygen being £400 quid better. Halfords are doing the crossfire-e for £999 on a C2W special ( see scrolling image on the front page https://www.cycle2work.info/ )

    Broken Carrera Crossfire after 1 hour ownership!

    If they still have your bike in the shop, pop in and get them to undo the neoprene cover and reinsert the connector, it is tight so needs a good push home
