Sounds like a decent torque wrench substitute :)

Unfortunately tools provided by Tongsheng are not very impressive. For that I might need my own gizmo. Two bolts and longer handle should do the trick. Do you think it might be worth to add a drop...

    48V Battery

How about voltage? I have seen somewhere that 48V is the limit. Would that make 48V batteries illegal (as they can be charged above 48V)? Or 48V limit is set on battery nominal voltage?

Woosh starts shipping Tongsheng TSDZ8 with 250W label

Theoretically it should. I don't have any problems with gear changing on TSDZ2B, but it is installed on step through bike. MTB is a different story, so Bafang gear change sensor might be something to consider.

Woosh starts shipping Tongsheng TSDZ8 with 250W label

This guy had BBS02B before. Interestingly he says Bafang gear sensor works on TSDZ8.

    48V Battery

Yes and it is very easy when battery is attached to base (not on bike yet) and power switch is on. Just bad design.

TSDZ2B and TSDZ8 brackets are almost the same. Just TZDZ8 is a little bigger. I hope it will hold. If not I will send it all back to WOOSH ...or I will make them to send me gizmo like yours. ;)

It is added there as extra measure. TSDZ8 don't have this extra bracket and it is expected to stay in place. One way or another your solution won't hurt for sure.

    48V Battery

48V is legal in UK. I'm not sure though what 48V. Nominal or maximum. Best to ask Flecc for clarification. Can you elaborate? I don't see any significant differences between batteries using 18650 and 21700 cells.

Do you think all this effort was necessary? Theoretically TSDZ2B should be OK without extra support. I was wondering what this extra hole in bracket is for. Now I know :)

Why your battery is illegal? In what way?

    48V Battery

No... I don't think so. Really? I never seen anything like it before. ...but I admit I have seen very few. Sadly no keys.

    Halfords non transferable Warranty

It is not Halfords staff attitude that is a problem. Your attitude is. You demand service you are not entitled to. Not all warranties are transferable. If in doubt read terms and conditions.

    Halfords non transferable Warranty

If you wouldn't buy a bike from Halfords, then why do you comment on quality of products sold by them? At this moment I have 3 bikes in my shed I bought at Halfords. All of them are of very good quality and fantastic value for money.

    Disabled

How adding throttle would impact exercise? Proposed by government changes are for everybody, not for disabled people only.

    Short cranks !

I have read. I just suffer from short term memory loss ;) £350 for something so simple is insane really. Is this price for one side only? Does it mean one is expected to pay £700?
