Never thought I'd consider plus size tyres, but maybe i'll just try a much wider tire on my rim. Currently running 2.1's but can go up to 2.8 me thinks on my current rims. May be I'm missing the point and they don't compare with full plus size, but it may give me an idea. The problem being I do...

    Tubeless ..any advice

have tubeless ready rims, valve, stand seal, tyres you know that will seal (plenty advise on internet). I run schwalbe sams. Follow internet tutorial and all should be well. Schwalbe sam tyres and stats seal no punctures for last year, but this could also be luck.

Looking for a bargain bike. Have £350 to spend

I would look second hand, but for this price not sure if you'll get anything decent / reliable. I do understand it's a train station bike, so you want cheap/unreliable vs good/expensive and it gets stolen.

    ebike law changes coming....

That's because the people who look into getting around firmware etcand creating speed dongles are looking at the most likely place they there will be a market. Clearly, it hasn't warranted them looking at Kalkhoff ;)

    ebike law changes coming....

I understand and i'm sure Bosch will try their very best to adhere to potential new laws, but again there are people out there who will be able to get around the firmware / software. Examples, PS4, XBOX, Car chip tuning, etc etc etc. Good luck there Bosch!!!

    ebike law changes coming....

Totally agree with you. This is a none story the speed limited increase is good of course, but if the motor is mechanically capable of further speed / power there will be people out there able to hack the firmware / software. This is the case with most things. Enough said!

Bosch CX seems to be flawed?

    SRAM EX1 first impressions review

Totally agree, i can't tell you how many different brands, ratios and exotic gearing i've tried. Keep coming back to good old shimano xt.

Agree, you're not alone i've had similar issues. It's like trying to find a good plumber who doesn't want to charge brain surgeon prices!

    ASA ebike dongles

I have the 15, 18 and 20t haibike xduro sprocket. Settled on the 20t giving great range in gears and climbing ability, also don't max out till you hit 40mph, then it was my heart and legs that maxed out after a few seconds. I'm running 27.5 wheels so it might make a difference if your on a 29er...

Just been shopping! Cube Reaction Race 500

I've just accepted that the devices i have used over the last 8 years record not just speed, but miles and altitude slightly differently i.e. iPhone, garmin, strava, android and bosch. Unless i'm really sad about it, and want a high end device to record accurately i really wouldn't worry. I...

Just been shopping! Cube Reaction Race 500

Not to worry, i don't think this is an issue. I noticed the difference speed between my garmin edge 820, iPhone, nyon and purion. I think it's all do do with satellites and how often the device syncs.

    Bosch main bearing

Yes, I would definitely fit 2 bearings. Think of it like a car, you would change your front set of brake pads, not just near side.
