But as somebody else asked what does happen if you buy a Bosch bike second hand and say from other part of the UK? You cannot go to dealer (assuming you know who it was).. What then? Not everybody will provide a repair service to pedelecs they did not sell... So what then and what if you need...

This is exactly what had been happening to mine... (KTM Macina Dual HS) Initially I assumed it was the actual spider which was loose but it happened several times. The last time it happened was the same time the motor seized. Now I am unsure if they were related or just pot luck it happened...

i had similar problems for ages and internittently. It cuts out if the unit is screwed on too tight believe it or not. mine is a ktm macina and it was screwed on too tight onto handlebars. This just stops ine of the gold connector things connecting. You could also try taking it off and...

Croeso :) I bought myself a crank motor pedelec which means apparantly it cycles more like a bicycle and goes up hill easier as i had lots of gears .. And yes I do need all the gears despite many people saying you do not need them on a pedelec... I bought a KTM macina dual hs over a year ago...

my brooks saddle is soooo comfortable,... No real breaking in needed either.

I think they look really ugly sorry. Too bulky and obtrusive compared to Bosch... (Perhaps it is a female thing?). Clashed with red as well (how come they will not make motor casings in colours of frame or ones that fully waterproof these motors).. Ruins the usual KTM aesthetics .. Unless...

Is it possible to do a firmware by connecting the 'dial' to the internet so somehow or is it some fancy cabling and software only some traders have? How can you tell if there is new firmware? How do i get it upgraded if there are new upgrades? Classic 2014 (i think!) model...

Bosch haven't got any spare motors for the classic model at present believe it or not! Awaiting them in and they have varied time from a week to total of three and now back to possibly 2 weeks..... :(
