    What is wrong with 50cycles?

Well I'm no sort of judge of course being completely new to ebikes, but it sounds to me as if you've got yourself a very real bargain. Damn-it that's not a lot more than half the Agattu total! Looking forward to hearing first that you have it, and then your thoughts about it.

    Why electic

Do you know, I'm inclined to think that it isn't the hills but the headwinds. Hills do sometimes come to an end!!

At my weight I count as two at least! But seriously the figures of messages read show that many people did read your accounts, and will obviously be keen to know what you decide on.

You have, Mandy. Mine is "LeccyBike TauTag!" I really hear you in what you say about frame sizes. I've had endless trouble over the years. I'm so lucky with TauTag being just right. Makers used to do a range of sizes, though they were never big enough for me, but nowadays so many seem to...

Damn that's a real pain for you on a new bike. I once had a problem with a brazed fitting failure years ago and I silver soldered it together again. I was delighted to find that the silver solder wetted the bronze perfectly. You may find the information useful.

Hi Fishy - Mine is the 56cm size and I'm a hefty devil of 6'4" and 17 stone so my details are of no use to you. But I suspect that your bike will be similar to mine in one regard - it will be big for its frame size. These are big bikes. Scott was very helpful in sorting out my best frame size so...

Really Mandy - as if one would call a leccy biker lady snooty! One would never dream of one such. One has been misunderstood by one's reader! Are contact lenses really machined??? I always thought they must be cast. But perhaps it's the mould you used to machine?

    What's Missing?

I thought so too. But anger always produces heat rather than light and dealers with ideals are likely to get just as shirty as individuals.

Best Motor/Battery for a Dahon Folder?

A fascinating thought. A belt would give a lower centre of gravity than a rucksack. But carrying heavy stuff oneself rather than letting the bike do it does seem a bit masochistic.

I read your reviews with much pleasure, Burncycle. These immediate impressions are worth a great deal I believe.

    What's Missing?

Are we to witness a resurgence of the brush I wonder. Is some miraculous nano tube form of carbon about to revolutionise electric motors. Is perpetual motion possible after all? Eyes right may be the order of the day! :)

    What's Missing?

Some may feel vindicted. I think none are better off. I'm saddened.
