    Non-drag hub motors

Yes I used the supplied speed sensor and the speed shows on the LCD panel. The sensor is at the second pic. I haven't tried the ALDI cycle computer sensor to connect the controller not sure that will work. Pat Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

    Non-drag hub motors

Thanks. Ehomer. I replaced the ku65 to sine wave controller in this afternoon and u must say I am impressed. First, it is definitely quieter than ku65. I feel slightly smoothly to use the throttle. I feel the same using PAS. Same to my KU65. Top speed is 20mph without load and 18mph with...

    Mwmotor brompton conversion

Thanks cwah. This is my first setup and at the end I will put the battery pack at the rear rack pannier bag. It is easy to control in that way. Anyone has a good solution about the hook? I wish I can get a extension block from Colin...:(

    Non-drag hub motors

Good to see it is working now for you. I am setting up the square wave controller for my brompton and sine wave controller for my Dahon jack this weekend. Hope everything goes as planned :D Let's see how they perform and report back. Pat

    Non-drag hub motors

Have you tried to hold the down button? It triggers walking speed mode. This could help to test the connection with the motor. You do not need to connect the rest to test it. So just LCD panel, controller, motor and battery. Pat Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Hi eHomer, I have 2 spare speed sensors (ordered for backup), I could send one to you for £5 p+p Btw, I have also received the square wave controller for my brompton. Hope I have time to test it this weekend As my eDahon went dead and I will take a chance to replace the KU65 to sine wave...

    Brompton Sparticle Power - 24v / 26v / 48v

Sorry to dig this post up again. I have tried the kit from the TETS and the motor drives around 18mph with throttle alone. The most amazing thing is that it remains really quiet even on load and uphill. Do you know what motor do they use? I think it is the V6 version with SWXU casing...XD Pat

Thanks but not this one. I have seen one using a C sharp Steel to replace the plastic hook. I am still looking for a solution :( Pat

    Brompton front hook problem

Thanks Jerry. As the gap between the shaft and the hook is too narrow I need to fix the hook in a really solid way. This plastic hook wont let me tighten enough to keep the screw in place. I have got a new plastic hook from brillant bikes and it still wont let me screw the nut tight on the...

My bike went dead half way thought to work

Cycled to work as usual and the LED panel went off about 7 miles. Could turn on the LED panel again but it went off 3 seconds later. I charged to full at work now and measured the voltage should 42.6 Tested it out again and it went 500 metres and it went off again. Do you know what...
