    Hi from Elgin Scotland

Welcome Johnny, another recent poster made some interesting points, he is using an ezee, which are renown for their power, have you looked at the BPM that woosh offers? They do a front or back, it has a 20A controller and is one of the most powerful 250w rated motors in its class. Woosh hubs are...

    Hi from Elgin Scotland

Yes, I tend to agree, many of the 250w motors are sold as 350w or higher to other markets, its the controller power and the way its programmed coupled with the battery power that can define. Weight can also play a role along with wheel size and other factors.

    Hi from Elgin Scotland

The Cyclotricity are very heavy direct drive motors that are built for speed on the flat, if the hills are very steep they may lack the torque. Have you considered a banfang crank motor? a 750w coupled with a decent battery and controller should get you up the steepest of hills and do better on...

    Dealing with water and cables

I think going the conversion route there is a good argument for the pannier battery as it is on the Big Bear, but routing the cable through the frame?

    Dealing with water and cables

Am I right in thinking that the most vulnerable electrical point of an ebike is the controller? And the biggest natural enemy to electrical parts is water? Look at these two wheels The first cable looks neater following the line of the forks. The second U shape more practical in...

I hope I've posted this in the right section, the short video helped me see exactly how much pulling power a 250w front hub motor has. The rider is 120 KG. Enjoy hope it helps potential buyers.

    ebike travel

Going to sound strange this but being out of the UK so long I've lost touch. Q. When travelling long distance to events how easy is it to take your bike (not foldup) on the train, bus or coach? What's the procedure?
