    apple crap

I converted to Apple products, when it really meant a conversion - maybe 15 years ago. I have been apple ever since. Laptops, mobs and pads. My old white iBook was quality personified. It lived in a backpack through 18 months travelling including temps of minus 25 to plus 50 degrees. 0 to 100...

    My first DIY e-bike

Yep, I'm sure it will. I have one with the internal controller on my 29er But it just eats batteries , the amp draw on my early version is insane I like the bbs02 way more due to the ability to programme. You want high speed, low torque - no worries. Low speed , high torque - no worries. Both...

    My first DIY e-bike

Heh that made me chuckle On the bike point, gotta agree with posters here. I had a Norco A line to try and repair the other day. With a 3k mxus hub and all the stuff. It weighed a simply incredible amount. It simply wasn't a bicycle in any respect. It also didn't work and failed to deliver...

    Cyclamatic???

The owner is only a 36v controller away from success. If you wanted to be really really nice you could tell him, polish your halo and wait for karma to deliver your perfect ebike for buttons ;)

    Cyclamatic???

160 isn't unreasonable, and you should be able. to get a decent working bike for little further outlay But it is a punt

    Cyclamatic???

All things considered id push for 120 and settle somwhere inmiddle

    Cyclamatic???

I'd test the battery and charger with a multimeter And ask how it failed and symptoms without doing that id not pay 160 If battery is a goner then I'd only pay 80 quid for it. And only cos I have a mediocre spec 36v battery surplus (and several controllers) so I could repair for zilch plus...

    First build spec

I guess But how comparative is going uphill in a heavy hub driven ebike to your carbon featherweight ? Don't getme wrong, I still totally advocate riding as many ebike permutations as you can

    First build spec

All retailer will let you try , just see who is near you Will anyone have anything like your SS and requirements . No chance whatsoever! Unless others know better , it’s a pretty niche requirement . Like me, with very different but niche requirements, you’ll need to build your own

    First Hurdle

    Comfortable Grips

I meant to add that I've a set of ergon p1 copies made by decathlon that I think are excellent. And way cheaper Fine on my commuter but no good when offroading imho

    Comfortable Grips

Giant do some nice grips with three levels of softness. Not ergo ones , just lock on

    Panda Pro/Orbit Orion Conversion

I have had a couple of welds go on my bga battery....not really their fault . I forgot to the lock the battery on and it went flying across the road a couple of times ! Might be a simple thing like that (just from rattle, not suggesting you abused like I did !) for completeness I repaired...

    Final mile eBike solution

Always think these last mile ideas are great....... But not in.uk whats the point in kitting up for rain and down again for just a mile or so. Hassle and expense to do anything but just walk with a good brolly and some cheap pack a Mac overtrousers I lived an commuted in London for a decade...

    Site not safe

I occasionally get this too. Usually it happens after a switch from wifi to 3g (i have a Wi-Fi dead zone in the house after one router failed ) Don't know why, reboot seems to fix it

Last chance to order the Swytch complete eBike kit for £225

They seem to be very extreme. Either the best you ever had or utterly non existent (i have only ever had the former).........which leads me to agree with Nealh , gotta be either distraction, too many spinning plates or not enough staff. Shame, they had a great core business I thought. And I...
