Has anyone else seen this before ? I have standard 26 disc forks and an standard BPM front hub
It fit fine on old bike but new one....Not a chance . As the title states the axle is too thick.
Both old and new forks are standard, old school qr dropouts . Old are surly steel rigid and new magura...
Actually it really wasn't that clear. Anyway let's move on and try to get you rolling again.
From the photos you have a major issue where the battery and receiver block meet. They are buggered by my reckoning
The next step will be to test the battery alone. For this you need a fresh fuse and a...
If that's what you are doing then you'll blow the fuse . And why would you short the battery anyway ? What does that test other than the fuse
I have to reiterate what has been said already. It's hard to follow What you saying and pictures here would really help.
Folk on here are very very...
Tend to agree but I love my alfine and wouldn't be without it !
Bafang? Nope, tried. and tested. Very available, plenty of spares, loads of info on interweb
Price aside , nothing not to like as an aftermarket crank drive
Sounds like a knackered cell string (or more ) inside the pack which brings the whole pack down
You'll need a multi meter to be sure by accessing the BMS board and testing the balance leads. They should increase in equal jumps e.g. 3.6v
This bike was recently on a crowd fund site and in some tech press.
This page has just stolen the picture it would seem and is a sure fire way to lose money at best and identify theft at worst
My self and a colleague had this issue. Eventually, and I do mean eventually, both cases were a single broken weld between these cells.
Easy fix ie a large blob of solder..... But a right bugger to diagnose
It prob isn't this and poor contracts is far more likely. Worth bearing in mind all...
Ahh, also those forks look too narrow to take most front hubs. You need mtb / 100mm at dropouts . Plus not narrowing too quickly.
I had to swap them forks on my Hybrid
They are likely to break from the torque /weight basically. You might get away with very low power motor but I wouldn't risk it
Either ditch the forks and go front hub. Or crank and rear nexus.
I have done both with an alfine 8 hub system.
Crank systems are easy to fit. Not harder than hub...
At the risk of being shot down..... Isn't this incredibly masculine paint job ?
And the market for step through folders such as this, I'd have thought, contains a large chunk of women who may be put off. Or indeed men
The less kind version of the above is - it's like a 17 year old Essex boys...
You could use a 5v usb powered solar storm. It's not as bright as d8veh option..... But it is very bright indeed.
I bought mine for 4.99 delivered from China on eBay. Slow boat so 5 week delivery time. 2x cree u2 led inside.
I use two of them. For serousb unlit off-road. It's plenty enough...
