New ebiker for seafront daily commute

Hello Jake :) I can empathise over the headwind as my house sits squarely (or at least it feels like it) in the line of where the planets wind hits Beachy Head and diverts off my way. I used to do Eastbourne to St Leonards for work, now thankfully it's just one side of Eastbourne to the other...

    Hello. New to ebikes.

Hello Gaz :) I had two die hard work colleagues have a go on mine last week. The smiles when they got back said it all and they've made the step-change to now understanding what it's all about. It's my day off today, washing done, shopping done, cuppa tea nearly drunk. Thought about washing...

    Whyte Coniston (2016 model)

Thanks Trevor :) I've tried every which way of turning the bike on, including with it on the kick stand, or stood more vertically as in the photo. Doesn't seem to make any difference. I've also had the display not come on a couple of times. As you say, unclipping it works. Funnily enough...

    Where do I start?

I really rather like the look of it. Got a bit of a Dutch look to it. No surprise that it's popular. The mention of the click in system on the rack for child seats might well suit Cari's needs. Gaz

    Whyte Coniston (2016 model)

So I've had it a couple of month now, and am 400 miles in, with lights and mudguards added, so I reckon I can do a what's-it-like-to-live-with review. Before I start, a bit about me, because I think a bit of perspective helps. I've been cycling since I was four years old, and have been cycling...

Free front bike light - no battery

Well that was exciting! After the light's battery topped itself the other week, I thought I'd take the battery pack apart to see what had happened. The scorch mark was quite obvious where the water had caused it to arc. As I took the plastic outer wrap off, I obviously twisted it, causing two...

Recommend me a new front light

Well I missed it being delivered yesterday, so picked it up from the sorting office this morning, and used it on my way home tonight :) Verdict: WOW!! What a thoroughly impressive light. Good light pattern, way too bright to have on max for road use. Feels very well put together...

Recommend me a new front light

Well I'm sure it was listed as 'In stock' when I ordered it, but it's now apparently noto_O And won't now be available until..... March  I don't think so. Order cancelled and placed elsewhere. Definitely available, definitely in stock and definitely available for next day delivery...
