    Hello Spud :) Gaz

I fell off my bike, over a bridge, into a ditch. :)

So true! Mine'd be going down a steep 50yd bank the year before last, only to realise as I crested the brow that my CoG was way past the front wheel, so over the bars I went (at 50 years old thinking 'this is gonna hurt'). Felt okay, 'til I got home, when I realised quite how much I was...

    Hi Di Hi!

Hello Roy :) What about popping round to Onbikes to have a butchers at some e-bikes: http://www.onbike.co.uk/electric-bikes/ Can't vouch for them, but they can't be too far away from you. Gaz

New to this thinking of commuting

As a relative newcomer myself to e-bikes I can only reiterate the advice of others in terms of try before you buy. They're all so different it's imperative to work out which one's best for you. I struck lucky on the off chance and ended up with an e-bike that's more comfortable than the...

    Wisper 905se or Momentum upstart

When you say latest editions, I've ridden a demo 905se back in the summer, but then I rode a 905 Torque the same day and the difference was quite stark. Appreciated you're on a budget, but IMHO it'd be worth holding out or looking at a cycle to work scheme or finance to go the extra. It's...

    New to the elec scene

Hello Damian :) Can't help you with technical stuff I'm afraid. I prevaricated for a ridiculous amount of time looking for a magic answer. My decision in the end was made with as much factual accuracy as a finger in the wind  Although I'm very happy with the outcome. Gaz

    Falling off....

When I was 14 (38 years ago) I was happily doing slalom in between the catseyes and white lines in the middle of the road my parents then lived on (A28, just outside of Hastings). All was going well until a momentary distraction (probably a car) interrupted my flow..... wheel turned at 90...

    water inside my headlight

If you can't get it apart, you could try putting it in an airing cupboard to dry out. If the water got it, it can come out. Putting it in some uncooked rice (in the airing cupboard) might help draw the moisture out. Gaz

Recommend me a new front light

I've decided to stop being prissy, and listen to good advice, so have ordered one of these! :D Hope was of course faultless on the way home:rolleyes: Cheers for the advice everyone. Gaz

Recommend me a new front light

I am liking that - it's presumably not as good as the £17 jobbie if it's your backup? Gaz

Recommend me a new front light

Cheers for the replies folks. Been out in the garage fitting mudguards, front one a doddle, rear one not so - two screws and a spacer missing :( I did read the 30 pages, but there was a lot of techy stuff that's frankly way beyond me. Like the Lezynes range. Also like the Cateye Volt 1200...
