    Brexit, for once some facts.

All this loss of "sovereignty", border control, British identity BS is just that, or, if you prefer something more "this side of the Atlantic", a load of old codswallop. There are absolutely no facts to confirm that you have ever lost anything or had anything stolen since joining the EU. You...

    Crank Drive Motor Clunking Noise

You will have a bike that is about 5-6 kg heavier than any other e-bike and it won't be street legal. The BBS has an internal controller already of course...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

You have control over your border, Ireland has control over the other one! Didn't anyone tell you? Have you tried getting into the UK as a non EU citizen? Have you tried as a member of the Commonwealth? Trust me it isn't a wide open affair. Monaco, San Remo and the Vatican don't have control...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The question as always Dave is who are your clients and how are they going to earn a living to pay for what you want to sell? Luxury goods are not, and have never been, a problem. Rich people do not know what austerity means, they have read the definition in a dictionary and it ends there...

Haibike sDuro HardSeven SL 2015 Yamaha (7 Month 1600 Miles)

When you say the cassette wears out do you mean all cogs or just the 12 tooth cog? It is in aluminium and can be bought and changed separately as you know. I only have 1000 km or so on my cassette so far and it looks brand new. I put the 11 tooth from the previous 11-28 on the 12-32 cassette so...

    Bafang Colour Display DPC-14

This LCD is a step in the right direction. I am an extremist and really just want to see the real time voltage of my battery and what assistance level I am in. All other information is on my GPS screen if and when I need it and that isn't on most of my rides.

    Gearing and motor

There is a very small (tiny in fact) learning curve, glad you have your training wheels off now! For your next trick have a go on a bike with a hub motor, more things to learn. :)

    Number Two

External PAS update: The external M33 motor mount locking ring was machined down to 4.01 mm thick (from 6.24 mm) at great expense :( by a local company and now the PAS sensor is back on its holder and locked firmly in place between the two M33 rings. I Dremeled the centre out of the magnet disk...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

It's all part of a cunning plan! Like turning 6.699 people into 7 thanks to a handy rounding up algorithm instead of saying "almost 7 of them" or "over 13 out of 20". Benjamin Disraeli would be proud tilson!

    Brexit, for once some facts.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurricane_Katrina#Criticism_of_government_response The Euro zone is 19 countries. The USA is a federation of states with state governments having practically the same role as EU national governments in many areas. This includes state taxes and fiscal policy...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Because the EU sets emission standards which are implemented and enforced (or not) by national governments (you know the ones without sovereignty...) and their testing bodies. "Government regulatory agencies and investigators have initiated proceedings in France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Much the same as Mississippi and California or, shudder, Puerto Rico... Puerto Rico is Greece on steroids and yet is being given its austerity medicine by Wall Street where they know how to apply austerity medicine don't they? Isn't this the example we are supposed to follow, starve the poor to...

    16" rim

OK thanks d8veh I'll keep that in mind, I still have a couple of LBS to visit (looking for unloved child's bike). I am pretty sure mine is the Chinese size 305 x 19 seeing the provenance and price of the trailer. Tailor wheels sell a whole wheel for £15.20 + postage and rims in every other...

    16" rim

Silly me I thought a Google search would help me find a cheap 16" rim for my trailer. Finds lots of wheels but I don't need a wheel just a rim. Finds a few overpriced aluminium rims for Brompton's and the like but I just need cheap and straight... Any ideas?

News: The making of the VIT-S

I was a toddler then so my now aching joints could take it! My first bike was a Raleigh all steel single speed, probably a 24" wheel, which my uncles gave me for Christmas in the mid 60's. Lucky me, my cousins hadn't been conceived so they spoiled me at Christmas.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

If I go to the UK I have to show my passport and the person asks me "how long are you staying sir?" or "What is the purpose of your visit?" When I go to Spain I walk or ride my bike over an imaginary line and no one is even there to ask any questions. The first seems a hell of a lot like...
