A working dongle - at last

I use mine a lot in tour at around 23 mph. I can also do 2 miles in 3.50 mins in turbo if the mood takes me. It just gives so many variables, I love it.

A working dongle - at last

I take it you ride a fair bit above the assistance level? Obviously you don't get something for nothing, if you want to go faster the energy has to come from somewhere. It's very hard to answer your question, only you can figure it all out for you personally, you could always turn the assistance...

Help with getting an electric bike

I think this is the one I'd buy, with a change of seat post and saddle should be small enough. Over budget, but should be very low maintenance. http://www.wooshbikes.co.uk/?sundowner

    Best electric bikes under 2000

As above a Kalkhoff impulse would be a very good option. Although I've never ridden one so can't comment on how they compare to the Bosch system. My bike is near perfect for me bar the battery capacity, I have 2 batteries now, but could do with more capacity really. When I rode a Bosch bike I...

    winding up non electric cyclists

They never catch me, and I pass most going about 5 mph faster. They're only jealous that you're not ruled by the rules. http://www.velominati.com/the-rules/ plenty of pace does the trick :)

    What bike was stolen?

Says the man who can't remember the name of his bike. Have you got a photo of your bike? and you can't take one once it's been stolen.

ebike to keep up with road bike for 40 miles

Yes I changed the chain at about 1,000 miles, I also put an adjustable chain tensioner on at the same time, it's hub geared, the higher spec KMC chain seems much better than the original lower spec KMC chain. I also brush grease on the chain these days. I've also gone from a 21T rear sprocket...

My crank-drive bike allowed me to ride 36.2 miles yesterday, climbing 3207 feet, and an average speed of 20.1 mph, I did however use about 650 wh of battery.

    Telephone Biking (If I Dare)

Strava has a good web route planner too. I presume it will upload to a mobile device, I've nothing that fancy. I don't much care for map my ride myself. That ride will certainly require a lot of battery conservation, I pace myself on each battery bar, so you need each one to take you 7.5...

Plugging your phone into the Bosch Intuvia console

I've got what looks like the right plug on a lead for an action cam. but it doesn't seem to fit, it looks the right shape and size, are the other plugs really similar? A link to the right lead would be good if you could please. I've looked at this for my Garmin car sat nav...
