    Scam on Gumtree.

Dear Steve, I was about to ship the bike but then I noticed that the notes all have the same serial number. Is this normal? Yours etc. etc.

Front suspension fork with long steam?

Edit stupid link.... You need a longer steerer tube and they seem easy enough to find. Most steerer tubes are delivered too long and have to be cut to size you should contact rst by mail to see what lengths they have. You need the dimension of the steering tube. If you can't find a long enough...

    Any compact, reliable, waterproof connector?

I know that eventually the HW brake sensor will get humidity inside and pack it in. I want to be able to swap it out easily so spending 8 € on water resistant plugs isn't a huge expense. Same for the speed sensor which is exposed to accidental damage (branches etc). As you say cwah it is a loss...

UK legal rear hub 48 volt kit?

Any 36V kit geared hub with a 36/48 V controller and a 48 V battery would be legal as long as the motor is engraved "250 W".

UK legal rear hub 48 volt kit?

I was just reacting to @Fordulike saying: "I know that the voltage doesn't come into the legality issue", it does unfortunately because I really like the idea of a 52 V battery like those made by Lunacycle...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I agree BUT... They know that ATMs and other sensitive machines are still running on XP. They made a crappy OS (which was one of the first ones I found usable btw) and the holes in the TCP/IP stack have been there since W98!!!! Some were still there in Win7... Your analogy isn't even close and...

If you were in France... http://www.avem.fr/velo-electrique-gitane-icon-modele-derailleur-379.html 1999 € or just a bit over £1500 when you deduct the 200 € state aid for buying an e-bike. It has a Steps crank motor.

    Diy solderless 18650 battery kit.

I was scratching my head about the use of copper bus bars instead of the SS ones. That would add another metal oxide into the mix wouldn't it? Isn't the shell of a 18650 cell made of steel?

    Brexit, for once some facts.

They have been aware for years that huge numbers of clients, including some very high level ones, have continued to use versions for which they (MS) no longer provide security fixes. Both those clients and Microsoft carry part of the responsibility. Fact. Telling a client to upgrade to a new...

    What Raleigh Should Do

You are right but where is their market? Decathlon's market is the EU! My very first bike in NZ was a Raleigh BTW, do they sell anything other than Chinese kids bikes there now?...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Without going into "Microshit is evil" etc they do tend to put profit before security. Their first TCP/IP stack was such cr@p so they bought the one from BSD and apparently don't have a clue how it works since the 1990 somethings... What do you want, profit or security?
