Thanks. I have opened up the battery and found the connector with lots of small white wires and one red one at one end. Do you know what reading they should be? If I plug my charger into the battery it stays green so no charge. Is that because the battery is not allowing it to charge? Still...

Wouldn’t 51v be enough to get some life out of the controller or the screen? Surely the voltage would be lower than that when the battery is nearly flat and all works then... Doesn’t the power for the screen come from the controller? Power from battery to controller and then out of controller...

Yes. How do I do that.? I put a test meter on the +&- from the battery to the controller and it registered 51.4v so I thought the battery was ok but if should be 54v then not ok! It was working fine and then this week just dead.

I took the cassette , chain and brake disc off and just spun the wheel and the noise/knocking is still there. Is the centre hub, removable/replaceable? There was a slight movement in the gear cluster but I don’t know how much is normal! I would order another motor and then get this fixed in...

It sounds more machanical noise than electrical. I disconnected the brake disk but no change. Hopeful it was that. I will upload a video when I can figure out how!

Thanks. Yes rim is trued and no damage. It is only a couple of months old. I check it every time I swap a spoke which is far too often ! I have felt the tension by hand and they all feel ok. May take the bike to a different bike shop to get them to have a look..

I am very pleased with my setup on my Specialized Hybrid but I keep snapping the rear spokes !
