Cheap Breakdown Recovery for Pedelecs and Pushbikes.

Good find! This got me thinking as I already have recovery insurance as a benefit of my motorcycle insurance with Carole Nash - so I've contacted CN to see if my KTM pedelec can be covered as well. Though from experience of motorcycle breaksdowns it can take an hour or three for a recovery...

    CLEANING HYDRAULIC BRAKES

As suggested use brake cleaner and also check how much remaining material is on the pads... as they can get crunchy when very worn down.

http://dirtmountainbike.com looks American with an entirely different set of laws to UK / EU based upon 750 watts maximum - Maximum speed of less than 20-MPH on the motor only, on level ground, with a 170 pound rider. https://www.electricbike.com/electric-bike-law/

New eBike centre in Mold - Mold eTrails - featuring KTM bikes

Try both a crank drive and hub drive. On the eRace P enjoy changing up the gears going up hill in 'high' keeping it in the powered 'torque' band but below the 15.5mph cutoff. :)

You've got a few hills to play with there. I often pop over to Halstead cricket club during the summer as well as supporting friends doing the triathlon sprint event.

Jim - http://www.rosebikes.co.uk/product/detail/aid:614120 Makes quite a diffrence esp on the bumpy roads. Easy to fit and swap saddles - just a couple of bolts to undo. I was lucky as I had a 10% off voucher so effectively free P&P.

The Complete EU Regulations on all e-bike types

Slighly offtopic but still of a bureaucratic & leccy bent - Here's a funny tale from my motorcycle forum on the fun & games getting an electric car conversion registered... http://www.superhawkforum.com/forums/technical-discussion-28/lion-battery-charging-rate-32727/#post380691

The Complete EU Regulations on all e-bike types

Registered and scanned through it - very prescriptive (esp the bit about instructions that must come with pedelecs). Can't see any explicit reference to home builds using imported kits - will they be all deemed illegal? Plus 6 out of 9 riders in the pics are helmetless and are riding under...

    Haibiken xduro rx

Surely this pressure is aimed more directly at electric scooter/mopeds imported from China sold for a few hundred pounds and sold unregistered, that vastly undercut anything comparable that established motorcycle manufactures can produce, rather than dongled bicycle derived pedelecs...

Macina Action 2015: a critical failure in quality control… made worse by crap customer service

There's something amiss with the spares supply line between KTM and UK as I found when I needed a replacement KTM marked rear rim. Despite the best efforts of Col and Tom they couldn't secure the rim from factory spares despite it being a 2014 bike and still on 2015 production bikes. I even...
