    Best bike for....

Is that true? Therefore I take it that salesmen are misinforming customers, or e-bike customers are really lazy? That makes me sad that your bikes are taking a backwards step. However I'd like to think you know your customer requirements better than me. I can't help but think some poor choices...

    Best cycling app?

It can be nice to log your ride as a ride to see how you compare to normal riders. Then just change the activity to e-bike ride. Or just list as e-bike ride from the off if that doesn't interest you. You can also make some e-bike segments if you're interested. I think you mean LIST or LOG. You...

Looks like I missed the pub night.

I see there was some banter in the pub last night. I'm not much of a drinker so glad I went to watch another win. She beat all the boys, including the wobbly one just in front in this shot. He just pipped her to a win by the narrowest margin last week, she didn't let that happen this week. :)

    Any electric bikers with motorhomes?

That's a big ask, I've not done the maths but imagine you'd need two leisure batteries with around 230 ah and a solar panel to try to top them up after your bike battery has pinched all the power. It's something I hope to achieve, I just need the solar panel now.

Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro/Bosch CX 500wh

Indeed, I just have one of these with the correct ends, I've had it a long time and it does the job perfectly On a maintenance front, my friends son has left his race bike at my house so I can look at his gears, he lost access to his top gear at a race last week, probably the only race I've...

    Winnats Pass.

On the whole the e-bike halves my time, so 11 or 12 minutes is a possibility on my carbon race bike. Juicy bike offered me a test ride on their new Sport bike, which would of been interesting, sadly I'm finding it very hard to consider riding it, my idea of sport is clearly very different to...

    Winnats Pass.

I suspect going 40% faster may have something to do with my higher wh consumption.

Ha beat you, 6 minutes today

    Winnats Pass.

The wind makes a significant difference, Rushup Edge often sees me going twice as fast heading east, compared to returning into the west wind. Today was the opposite though.

    Winnats Pass.

A weedy Bosch classic, I say weedy because it has reduced assistance for the hub gears in comparison to the more powerful derailleur compatible version. I've used twice as much power when the wind is blowing the usual way on Winnats.

Failed on my first big hill

Last time I rode up there I don't think the internet existed. I might have to go and pinch Lee's KOM :D https://www.strava.com/segments/6681397

    Winnats Pass.

Thanks. around 60 wh as in my post, dropped one bar on my 300 wh battery, luckily it dropped a bar just before the climb, otherwise it's difficult to tell how much you've used.

    Winnats Pass.

Back to Winnats. Tackled it again today, two years to the day since my last record attempt. I've had a bad week health wise so knocking 8 seconds off my previous best time is more down to the wind direction and lower gearing on the bike. Used approximately 60 wh to get up in a time of 6:11. The...

    Hello

100% yes. I found the folded e-bike heavy and awkward to put in and out of the car, and a folder is a compromise compared to a full sized bike. Just get the right bike from the off. I hardly ever drive my car now because the bike is so much more convenient and enjoyable than driving.
