ARCC Moulton and the Process of Getting There (LONG)

So a modern smart phone has an F4 lens with a 15 times optical zoom And a 35mm sensor. That gives very high resolution images from quite a long way away even in relatively low light. The sensor in a smart phone may have 30 million pixels but the focused image is so poor in contrast. Or maybe...

Eddie it's up setting enough to find out about billies sad demise. Did you have to post such an explicit, nay graphic photograph. Please consider my therapist and his work load. My condolences

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Dave as a fellow Dave I'm happy to be branded as tree hugging eco warrior. The unrelenting waste of resources and hoping that science will magic up a power source that will allow the wastage to continue is a stupid bet. Left leaning perhaps but also a realist who knows who's had off with most...

ARCC Moulton and the Process of Getting There (LONG)

As an ex MOULD tech I worked with Pye Pegasus handbags and had a blue and cream Landy. And some people don't know that the glass on the camera is way more important than the sensor. A crisp image on the sensor is the start, a blurry one cannot make a clear image.

    Worried about Global cooling.....

I totally disagree, you need a gin palace, some of the larger power boats do around 1 mpg. With a 1,000 gallon tank you could speed the warming back up again;)

    Brexit, for once some facts.

In reply to reduced sovereignty, so what! That's glib but how many European laws do you disagree with, like killing your neighbor, it's frowned on in uk and Europe. Speed limit of 50 kph, well that's 30mph as near as dam it. Human rights, we had an early one ( Magna carta)but that has been...

0-15mph acceleration of 250W electric bicycle?

With a sim fit man they zip off like a rocket and climb at 15 mph. With an old fat asthmatic they still go not badly and climb reasonably well. Of corse the steepness of hill etc all count too. Oh the 250 watt is a fudge most legal motors can max at over 600 watts some can hit a Kw and gearing...

There are so many to choose from - help

The big bear has been the go to budget buy recommendation for the fuller figure for a few years. Other bikes are better but not as cheap rough tough and supported. Woosh have known there market and provided what they want for the price.

    Maximum Speed Control

No legal requirement for speed sensors just it can't do more than 15 mph but it has to have a pedal sensor to comply with the law, and probably as implied to operate as the controller expects a signal before working.

    Hi from HaslemerR

The bike appears to be standard Chinese build, with a spare 10ah battery for £800 that's a great price for a new bike. Don't expect outstanding quality components but it should last well enough. You can replace things that fail with better parts cheaply. It would tempt me but I have other...

    Hi from HaslemerR

D8veh is better with more experience. I have done a cd replacement and a kit install. Along with some mods to my bikes, changing gears from derailleur to hub gear and keeping my bikes on the road.

    Hi from HaslemerR

Ok so a fun bike for off-roading. How far and how much help do you want? How big and fit are you? Remember some people here are over 60 and over 17 stone with athsma etc, it's nothing new. How handy with tools are you? Oh and how much cash were you thinking of min to max.
