Hi Osho Will be pleased to know what you pick. Samways Cycles in Wimborne have Raleigh Motus and Captus with Bosch motors and have been doing quite a brisk trade. I use them for some maintenance on my older Panasonic Motored Kalkhoffs for jobs I don't fancy doing.

Hi ColB Thanks for the useful update. Out of interest can you tell me which colour wires were 'missing' from the new switch you bought. It would indicate which ones control the lights. What plans do you have for the switch you bought? Retain in case of need?

Hi Tillson, I remember all the trouble you had at the time. One of my bikes is a 2008 24 spoker and (touching all the wood I can) it has survived and still OK after 9,000 odd miles. I prefer the ProConnect S, which has done more miles, but my son uses now intermittently uses the 24 spoker.

Are you going to get another pedelec. If so please keep us posted on what you choose. I won't be going down the Kalkhoff route when my current panasonic powered diamond frame Pro Connect needs replacing. It's still going strong after 10.5k miles.

The Kalkoff motor saga just goes from bad to worse. Now a report of a failing Evo motor and it being replaced. did you have any noises, or did the motor just stop?
