Hi Flecc

Cannot locate your great Panasonic guide which has the ideal distance between centres on the motor and the chain tensioner wheel. Also, 50cycles have sent me a spring which is larger than the original and the ends finish in the same plane as the spring, instead of being both ends finished in the plane of the bolt that goes through the centre, so that it they locate in a small holes in the tensioner and another in the body of the motor case. Have they sent a spring for a later model of motor, mine's 2008 vintage, AND STILL GOING STRONG!! Thanks

The setting details are on this link.

I sorry I don't know if the spring changed on later models, there were a couple of changes in that area including the double idler one you'll see on my link. It's likely they've sent you a later one though.

Thanks Flecc, always been able, since 2008, to rely on you for a quick reply to answer a problem. Mike
