Agree, whilst the Tasman Impulse 2 motor is not clacking (yet!!!), it makes also makes whining noise and is nowhere near as quiet as the three Panasonic motors in our 'collection'. This has not turned out to be an UPGRADE in our view!!

I think that the clacking noise leads to ultimate motor failure, which means a replacement motor. Don't think it's just a replace wearing part job. OK whilst under warranty, but 2 years can soon pass, hence my need to thoroughly test Mrs 'O' new Tasman by getting her off her old ProConnect...

24 spoke wheels weren't all disastrous. My 2008 ProConnect has 9,000 miles on the clock, and is a 24 spoker. My ProConnect S (2010),also just over 9,000 miles on the clock, is a full spoke wheel, but this one has signs of corrosion bubbling up under the paint on the rims.
