Help! Back wheel will not work by pedaling

I read the problem as crank/chain wheel, chain and freewheel are all moving, but no mechanical drive to the wheel, hence suggesting stuck/broken pawls. Does the motor cut in when the pedals are turned?

Review Small, light, reliable, low resistance FRONT/REAR hub

Try searching for Bafang G370, I think this is the same as H600. http://www.topbikekit.com/8fun-bafang-g370-36v250w-front-hub-motor-17kg-p-890.html

Motor spinning but not engaging back wheel

It's a sprag clutch, so spring loaded rollers and ramps. You can strip them by grinding down the rivets, but then they need welding back together. They are available for some motors, contact CSC first if they supplied it, they are most likely to have spares. I doubt if BMS will be any help...

Motor spinning but not engaging back wheel

Just watched your video, deff. looks like your clutch is broken. What make is the motor?

Motor spinning but not engaging back wheel

Spin the wheel backwards, if no resistance is felt, then it is prob. a problem with the clutch.

    Bicycle industry fights e-bike ‘tampering’

I think Bafang have already entered the Canbus world with their M600 drive. There is now a new version of the BBs drive, which I believe is also Canbus. It's got a new jubilee clip frame fitting aswell, very 2010, reminds me of my GNG mid drive.

Help! Back wheel will not work by pedaling

Sounds like the pawls are stuck in your freewheel. Lay the bike on it's side, chain upwards and apply some 3 in 1 oil around the inside of the freewheel and they should free up.

    Buying 2nd hand.

What make and model is the bike? commuting usually means the bike has been used regularly which is not a bad thing for batteries. As a rough guide, if it's cheap and Chinese it's prob. close to replacement, if Bosch or Yamaha it prob. has a couple of years left in it. At that mileage check the...

Can anyone recommend a good crimper?

If you are useless at soldering that must mean you own one, so practice, it's a much better skill to have than the best pair of crimpers. I'm sure there are plenty of tutorials on Youtube.

    motor problem

From memory those Cyclematics have an unusual 95mm BB because of the controller box under the battery, so the axle is long, around 142mm. I used one from a scrap bike to fix my old Wisper 905, which was 90mm. I think there was 1 company in the US that sold them, but worked out to nearly £50, so...

The Wisper Clinic - Our commitment to our customers old and new.

How old is your battery? The cutting out maybe a sign it is at the end of it's useful life esp. if it only happens when the throttle is used due to higher current draw.

Help! Hi all, just bought a 'broken' ebike. Some help needed. Falcoln Turbine.

You can get a replacement controller that fits in the battery mount from TopBikeKit. I would get display, throttle, pas and 4 into 1 cable as well to ensure compatability and ease of fitment. I would want to try and find that short before anything. Look for damaged cables, what display is...

Making a battery pack for EV conversion - Edd China's Workshop Diaries 27

He's had his own show on Quest channel, Vintage Voltage, done some great conversions, most based on recycled Tesla motors and battery packs. If money allowed, I would deff. go conversion over production model with EV, same as I have with bikes. https://www.electricclassiccars.co.uk/

    Brand New BBS02B...PAS not working

It's in the controller casing in front of the chainwheel, it does come off with the chainwheel in place, but easier with it removed. Just remove the 3 allen key bolts you see in the photo.

    Brand New BBS02B...PAS not working

Do you have a programming cable? If so, you could check the settings. Sellers often change them and they could have done something wrong, although there is no way to disable the PAS in there. You could also remove the 3 controller allen key bolts and check the PAS sensor plug is properly...

BBSHD showing watts dropping under acceleration

A few years back all 48v Bafang motors and displays worked with 52v batteries, although they did not register true voltage. Then, for some reason only known to them, Bafang started messing with firmware and that's when all the problems began. It could be that the C965 won't now work on 52v.

BBSHD showing watts dropping under acceleration

I read this blog, and many others, when I first got my HD in 2016. Helped me understand the effect of changing settings, and the dangers. Applies to 02 and HD. https://electricbike-blog.com/2015/06/26/a-hackers-guide-to-programming-the-bbs02/
