    Help! ebco eagle LSR:50

I believe your bike has the Tranzx system. Have you tried Holland bike shop? https://hollandbikeshop.com/en-gb/bicycle-parts-electric-bicycle/tranzx-e-bike-parts/tranzx-battery-e-bike/tranzx-battery/

Fat bike - mid vs rear hub

Another option is the 48v 750 watt version of the Bafang rear hub. You could run that hub with a 30-35 amp KT 9/12 fet controller, which would work out cheaper than a HD mid drive, but would still need a decent £400 battery. One thing to check is your rim hole count, most fat rims are 32 hole...

Fat bike - mid vs rear hub

Your budget is not going to get you a mid drive, as with a 120mm BB, your only option is gonna be a Bafang HD and even that may not fit. Don't worry about the slightly odd sized rear D/O, it will give/take 10mm or so. I would have a look at Woosh's fat bike kit. Edit.....as if by magic :)

    Cyclotricity Stealth

There is a newish Hailong case that holds around 90 cells, but you would have to check it will fit your frame. Here's an example of it with dimensions. Otherwise go soft pack in frame bag. https://ebikebatteries.co.uk/product/48v-24-5ah-panasonic-ncr18650ga-hailong-inc-2a-li-ion-charger/

    Petrol driven bike!

Although my 56 yo self would agree with Gavin and Nosweat, I grew up with Castrol R flowing through my veins and a lust for Micron and Allspeed exhaust pipes with cut down baffles, so I must confess if I could have had one of these systems for 2 weeks paper round money.......

TSDZ2 non-drive side crank binding against BB when tightened

Shimano Steps E6000 arms are an alternative for Bafang mid drives, so should be good for the tsdz2.

    MTB old school conversion

Glad to see it fits OK. A 42T Lekkie will deff. improve your chainline, if it touches the linkage place washers behind it. Use Locktite on the fixing nut on the drive.

    Marians

That looks like an in-frame battery, nothing like the one in my link. If you have no luck with Go Outdoors, you could try ebikebatteries.co.uk, who may be able to rebuild it for you.

Can I use a 48v Battery on a bike which currently has a 36v Battery?

If you haven't got one, get a digital meter, so you can check the battery before you go spending money. Always best to satisfy yourself of something rather than taking the word of someone who may know less than you...

Can I use a 48v Battery on a bike which currently has a 36v Battery?

Your bike uses generic Chinese parts, so no need for overpriced OEM spares. Ask if you need advise. Battery is older bottle style. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2505460.m570.l1311&_nkw=36v+bottle+battery&_sacat=0

    Conversion kit for my Crescent

Postage from China is a bit pricey for complete wheels as you will see. Ask around your local bike shops, assuming you have some, for a decent wheel builder. Should work out cheaper.

    Very thin chain, voodoo bizango

Not a good start for your mate with his new bike. Halfords can be a bit sloppy with thier PDI, so chain could have been damaged and not noticed. Back to the shop I guess.

    Battery cutting out.

The switches on the back of the lock can give trouble on this style of battery.
