Keeping the suspensions were the whole purpose of buying suspension sissy bar from the US! Cost me £100 to get it delivered. Why would a passenger be bounced out on my bike and not on a moped with similar suspensions?

You may just have 1 cell out of balance to make it faulty. Check first voltage difference on each cell.
