Prices of the electricity we use to charge

If AI can think of it, it must be 'obvious to one skilled in the art'

Raleigh Motus Bosch equipped, Hub gear, Crossbar

I didn't find it for years. Just next to the little lights on the battery, and very discrete.

How do you deal with a puncture/breakdown when out?

But then the ride will be back to the harsh Tannus ride, surely?

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

I asked BING AI the question how much electricity do you use answering each question? answer came ..... ~~~~~~~ That's an interesting question. I don't have an exact answer, but I can try to give you an estimate based on some assumptions and calculations. First, let's assume that I use the...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

When you are 108 you'll really appreciate not having to drive yourself.

Raleigh Motus Bosch equipped, Hub gear, Crossbar

(Ours is step-through, but I don't think that makes a difference!, and probably older model (2016)) Yes, but not exactly. Ours fails to start or cut out randomly relatively often; maybe once a month or so. Not much displayed on the Intuvia display; certainly nothing in green as it's monochrome...

How do you deal with a puncture/breakdown when out?

I believe earlier airless tyres often significantly increased spoke breakage, which is much more of a faff to fix than punctures. I haven't tried Tannus so maybe they've sorted it?

    Another E-bike Fire

Interesting it is even getting mentioned on seller's sites. The Argos page https://www.argos.co.uk/product/9543104 saneagle referenced on another thread says IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT CHARGING: ENSURE YOUR VEHICLE IS COOL BEFORE CHARGING AND USE THE MANUFACTURER'S CHARGER ONLY. UNPLUG THE...

or: https://www.argos.co.uk/product/9543104 Probably not the best, but certainly a pretty amazing price.

    That's the spokes done

Maybe it was, but possibly justified in response to Az.'s earlier post? It would be good if everyone could appreciate that different people have different priorities. That is so whether it is something cosmetic (such as colour of spokes) or more fundamental (how you want to use your bike and...

    Converting Carrera Subway 2

You may not really need the torque arms, but make sure the torque washer engages properly in the dropout; can be an issue with shallow dropouts.

    Chain Jump

Chains and cassettes work best together when they are about equally worn. But chains generally wear faster than cassettes. It's quite common that putting a new chain with an old cassette doesn't work very well. For best life I have seen it suggested to buy a new cassette and three chains and...

    Gtech Ebikes Closing

If I remember right, people were already having difficulties getting Gtech V1 batteries even while Gtech were still in operation.

    Cargo bike Vogue Carry 2 | Bafang M400 | C07 | Lack of torque

I find it necessary to ease off power (both rider and motor) to get a smooth change on the Nexus 7. If I don't I may get a crunch in the gears, or more likely it just won't change. That's with an early version Raleigh Motus with relatively weak Bosch Active Line not plus; the effect would be...

Has anyone used Swinging Wheels stabilisers on e-bike?

https://www.vanraam.com/en-gb/news/front-tricycle-for-adults-by-van-raam I think quite a few others as well. Interestingly, they don't mention '2 wheel-like' steering as one of the benefits. A tricycle with two wheels in front has many advantages: You can easily estimate the width It can be a...

Which hub motor for a tandem ?

I agree with a lot of what saneagle says, but ... I've never found lack of traction on steep hills an issue on a tandem with it's different weight distribution. I have frequently found the two wheel drive (front motor, back our pushing) helpful; especially slightly uphill on slippy grass, with...

Which hub motor for a tandem ?

We've got a Woosh XF07 on a 700c wheel tandem. Works well, but definitely low on torque for bigger hills. I think it would work really well on an Ecosmo or other 20" wheel tandem. It's getting more and more difficult to get over the crossbar on our conventional (Viking) tandem. We tried a Circe...

Opinions Of Engwe engine 2 pro For 15 year old

There's quite a range. Most of them are illegal to use on the road unless taxed, insured etc as a moped. Only the 250w max 25kph version stands a chance of being legal, even that talks about 'pure electric' mode which probably takes it out of GB and NI regulations for pedelec. Are you in...

    UK 20mph speed limits

Except downhill. I've been clocked and stopped, and I'm a fairly slow rider. Helpful as it turned out; my rear light had a bad contact and had turned itself out. Good old EverReady where not working seemed the usual state. He warned me (unofficially) on that and I was easily able to fix it (at...
