It makes sense to choose a manufacturer with an established presence on here. I chose Woosh and have been very happy with both the bike (Zephyr) and the service. Plus their replacement batteries are a good price.

It has a gear cluster at the back but no derailleur?

10psi is about what I increased them by (they were 40, went down to 35, I increased to 45). I certainly felt the difference and will check them much more frequently from now on even if the bike hasn't been used much.

Having read this thread yesterday I pumped up my tyres (first time for a month). My throttle-only speed went from 12 to 13.5mph!

That's a shame - still, those Sports Direct bikes are bargains.

Do you have a throttle-only option? They are very good for pulling away smoothly from a standstill before you start pedalling.

Hatti transferred the warranty when I bought my three-month-old Woosh Zephyr, I don't understand why all suppliers wouldn't.

You seem to be assuming that cyclists always obey the rules of the road. I wish I was in a position to have a conversation with the one who recently pulled out from between parked cars at night without lights, causing me to brake and swerve (otherwise I may have killed him) resulting in knocking...

My Woosh Zephyr is the same, up to 12mph.
