yeah I’ve been in touch they’ve advised on the Baserunner L10 v4 however I’ll most likely have to get an extension cable and splice the end as the connection out of the Baserunner doesn’t fully match the connection to the Suntour Motor.

I also can't seem to locate the dimensions of the integrated controller size.

I see your point, with the integrated controller I'd have to cut the wires to expose the connections, where as with the standalone controller its already separated (hall wires and motor phase wires)

I was looking at the below version but obviously I would have to get a compliant battery. But my main concern is the wiring would I be able to wire it with my existing motor?

Wanted to ask if anyone knew the difference between the controllers that are built into the batteries and the stand-alone controllers do they essentially have the same performance?

So I checked out where the cranks fit on the BB and it looks like I could potentially try a Dual Hall Sensor PAS with the teeth connections that fit into the BB.

i like your idea of getting a 9 mosfet to future proof in case one day I change the rear hub motor

I’m going to put it in some kind of container or bag it definitely won’t fit where the current controller sits.

Thanks mate, I think I’m going to go with a new battery and a new controller and try to keep using the existing motor.

So Halfords phoned and said the battery looks like it has been opened so the warranty is now void they can’t do anything.
