Better still, why not get a bit rich yourself? Once you have eaten the rich, what will you do after that?

Capital gains tax is a scam. Often, probably frequently, people are being taxed on inflation. If you bought an asset ten years ago, any gain needs to have the inflation over the period, taken into account. I dont think it is.

Good catch. For the last four years or so, i have been using a small alu cased chromebook, called the Asus c101p. It it pretty tiny and suits the amount of moving about i do from one location to another. It is much less powerful than your new catch, but it suits me well and has a lovely screen...

Yes - this phenomenon of 'hallucination' needs to be watched for and I know they are spending billions trying to stop it happening. The progress though is phenomenal. Apparently, much of the startling progress comes down not only to the large number of talented developers working on the problems...

An elderly neighbour of mine caught covid the week before last and it degenerated to pneumonia.... I doubt he will be seen again outside without being in a box on its way for disposal.

The Daily Mirror is a filthy Labour rag. NOTHING in it is either fair, or honest. The same is true by degrees of many other papers. The Daily Mail and the Daily Express are fomulaic distortion machines. Systematic dishonesty disgusts me. All the mentioned papers are no better than Putin's media...

I asked ChatGpt the question: "Why do LiFePO4 batteries have a lower energy density than other Lithium battery technologies." and this is what it said - 'LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries are less energy dense compared to other lithium-ion battery chemistries due to several inherent...

I thought this was quite a good article comparing LiFePo4 lithium iron batteries with ordinary lithium manganese cobalt type. Compares them on many aspects. Worth a read maybe - https://ecotreelithium.co.uk/news/lifepo4-vs-lithium-ion-batteries/

The Tories have shown themselves to be a largely useless, divided, and foolish rabble. Aside from some matters relating to the handling of vaccine procurement during the pandemic which in any case was the success of others appointed to do the job (NOT NHS England or the Dept of Health) they...

How much battery sag is too much for a 3 year old battery?

Yes - well noted on the slow start parameter.I already decided to change that back to 4 on reading about this on other sites. It is probably worth saying, that I have been trying to ride this setup in PAS2 and occasionally 3 on hills. This means in PAS2, I am drawing about 130 watts and in PAS3...

How much battery sag is too much for a 3 year old battery?

I've tried to disable my throttle - and thought I had, but the throttle now operates as a sort of feeble 'walk' throttle. It has no power to propel the bike when I am on it, but it does walk the bike at about four miles an hour. I think, from what I have read, that 'Start up Degree - signal...

How much battery sag is too much for a 3 year old battery?

The main reason that I didn't spot that it was cadence (because I knew it would shut down if I pedalled fast) is that the way mine is currently set up, it takes a full four seconds to wack up the power when it decides to do it. I was in a low gear because of the steep incline, so, when I...

How much battery sag is too much for a 3 year old battery?

You were right saneagle. I took it up there again this afternoon after 28 miles since charging and this being the fifth hard climb up the hill. The battery resting voltage is now about 35 volts and when I go up the steepest part of the hill at the highest assistance level, the voltage sags to...

It's a good day this. Took my 28 year old, £650 Honda CB250 the 30 mile round trip down to Hexham for 8 am this morning to get its MOT. The 'golden' tester, IAN came out with it half an hour later (I was hanging about outside biting my fingernails) and as usual, he nodded, and said, 'It's spot...

We should never have entertained deporting that Assange fellow for reporting on terrible abuses by American forces. That deportation treaty is ridiculously one sided. We could not get the motorcyclist killer Anne Sacoulis back here - not for love nor money. We had to go through a complete...
