    Cytronex C1

It will be interesting to see what motor they have actually adopted. I note in an earlier post from Mark at Cytronex that they tested and rejected the Dapush unit.

    Rack Off!

Now 'Clunk and Crash' brings back memories of a Norton Commando. As to the rack issue could you not just make up a couple of custom plates to extend the fitting to level it off. Bit like a pissed picture on a wall drives you mad.

Any sneak previews on Cytronex kit?

Bigger market perhaps? Must admit the battery fitting on the Oxygen kit does look very tempting. I wonder what the motor spec is though.

Any sneak previews on Cytronex kit?

Well on the Cytronex blurb for the Euro Bike show in Germany they say they will be demoing their 'Bad Boy' bikes with a kit based on the new 'Cytronex C1' kit. At least we know what it might be called. I don't get the secrecy regarding kits. Are the manufacturers scared that someone will rip...

More to the point is when will it available and what is the price? Is it ready to go or just another teaser?

Any sneak previews on Cytronex kit?

Replying in order. The clubs live in my locker at the golf club. However on an interestring note search Bionx on ebay and a picture of an ebike with a golf club trailer pops up:) The Tonaro went back as the rear subframe mount for the disc brake was unfortunately machined at an angle that...

Any sneak previews on Cytronex kit?

They have said there will be an update on their website next week. Daahub is still looking the favoured option. If I don't get it working soon winter will be here and it will be next year before I am looking to get a twilight game in at Golf. The whole purpose of the e bike in the first place.

Any sneak previews on Cytronex kit?

I'll take that as a no then. Obviously Cytronex have it well locked down. Go on wet our appetites :)

Shimano Bias in Favour of Unpowered Cycling

Why is Indalo always so negative? Perhaps we should add a link to the Samaritans. At the end of the day we are talking about bikes here, nothing, more nothing less. I have now tried several systems. The first Scwhinn was a great idea but flawed battery. The Tonaro was a great piece of kit but...

Review on Franks XIPI conversion kit

So in the top picture it goes Nut, washer, torque bracket, washer and then frame? Thanks for the effort but I have had to return the Bionx as the drop out on the Trek 6000 was just too shallow to retain the Bionx anti spin device and that was to narrow to push out passed the frame to add a...

Help with resetting Bionx charger - Dead on arrival

In fairness to Bionx the charger is a generic item. The new one arived and it is fine. I am still toying with the fit of the axle in the drop out and looking at a way of increasing the security. Again no fault of the kit but the drop out on the Trek 6000 is very shallow on the side where the...

Review on Franks XIPI conversion kit

Could you show a close up of the torque bracket / bar. I am looking to fit somthing to secure a Bionx to my Trek 6000 and it may give me a clue.

Do I need drop out adaptors for Trek 6000 and Bionx kit

Replying to my own thread. I have now had a good look and remarkably the dropout on the opposite side to derailliuer is remarkable shallow and just about covers the depth of the axle. The anti spin spline is pressing against the frame as the drop out splays but I cannot say it fills me with...

Do I need drop out adaptors for Trek 6000 and Bionx kit

I have fitted a Bionx kit to my Trek 6000. The anti spin on the axle bolt seems to be a long way out of the fairly shallow rear drop out. I have made sure nuts are very tight. I used a torque wrench last night but think it overdid it. I have now used the FT setting that has stood me in good...
