Interestingly the Obrera uses the same motor as on our Wisper Torque series, it's a great bit of kit.

For the new Wolverine Carbon fully loaded with Di2, we chose the slightly heavier Fazua mid drive motor, we figured that as the assistance was to be used on steep inclines, putting the power through the gears was more appropriate. At 13.7kg it is heavier but we think it's worth it, the other advantage is we can remove the battery and motor in under 1 minute to create a very light weight road bike.

Just finished building the first one this morning, ready for Eurobike. Studio shots to follow!

Certainly lots going on where the market focuses on KGs at the moment, with plenty of new frame designs with discrete batteries on show at Shanghai in May.
We're showing 2 at this year's NEC Bike Show - one home grown that we'll produce in either Bulgaria, Spain or Portugal and another from a cooperation with another European partner. Ours will be a comparatively massive 15 KGs (£1499) and the partner bike 13.5 KGs (£1799).
Exciting how things are moving on and it will be interesting to hear feedback from riders at the NEC.

Making them lighter is something that needs focus, not just for road bikes. My Haibike mtb is far too heavy for the amount of power it produces / I use.

Actually the road bike was the first ever, this is the second. Production will be running smoothly from next week.

Absa-bloody-lutely! If we cant beat the anti dumbing nonsense, we will import the parts and build them here, until circumvention comes in in 2020.... then we'll bring in 40% of the parts directly from Taiwan. The EBMA have had the effect they wanted though, our bikes will be going up by £100.00 very soon now.

Just a small update, just been past the Vivax factory shop in Wörgl, they have a sign in the window saying ebikes from 9.7kg.
