Just a small update, just been past the Vivax factory shop in Wörgl, they have a sign in the window saying ebikes from 9.7kg.
That sound like a tyre company add board
Mot and Service from £99 until you go in and it’s £200 :(
The magic word is from
That particular bike is probably half built lol

It also says ebikes from €3999 but I'm sure that doesn't buy a 9.7kg bike.;)
I'll have to call in and try one someday.

The basis Vivax with the smaller battery weighs 1.8 kgs. so what they say is possible with a bike weighing 7.9 kgs.

Obviously short range though with such a small battery, and despite all their protestations it's a very low powered system, less than a half of what we are used to with e-bikes.
