yes, a bit earlier.
We'll get the 17.5AH battery and the 27.5 Rio in August.
Everyone who tested the Rio so far has loved its speed, responsive shock and lightness.
By the way, the 17.5AH battery should weigh same as the 13AH, 3,150g.

Ok, thanks....will there be any other differences between 26 and 27.5 apart from wheel size?

That crossbar is a weird design, very flat. Bike looks nice though. Still unsure on this or the FB. 13AH range might be good enough for what I want but I dont know. (32-40 miles in one go)

Yes, this one is a flat bar. We have also some riser bars in stock.
handlebars are like T-shirts, there isn't one style fits all - but it takes 10 minutes to fit another one.

Looks really nice in the new pictures. I think they'll be very popular.

I'm going to be very tempted to go for the 17.5AH one in August.

Could you please tell me the frame size of the 27.5" wheel Rio?

Sorry for the late rply. It's been a bit hectic today.

On the sample, it's 46cm.

At the front: no. You install a plastic bung under the steerer tube, then push fit the mudguard on like you would do with the SKS Shockboards.

front mudguard mount:

possible use for alternative rear mudguard mount:

possible use for rear pannier rack mount:

The price for the 27.5 Rio MTB will be same as with the 26" Rio. Both will be offered with two battery options: £1,049 with 13AH and £1,149 with the 17.5AH.
A spare 13AH battery costs £299, a spare 17.5AH battery costs £399 including courier delivery.
The 13AH battery is made with Samsung E cells, 17.5AH with Panasonic B cells. Both weigh the same, 3150grs.
We may use Samsung Q cells later in the year. Prices will remain same.

Hi FP,
46cm = 18" frame, the main thing is the top tube is also a bit longer. With 650B tyres, it will suit 5ft10 to 6ft3, looking its best if you are 6ft1 - 6ft2.
We can't offer finance option at the moment, sorry. It's something that we have to sort out soon.

Regarding the Fatbike tyre size, it says on your site you use Kenda K1016 tyres. On the official website for that tyre it says it comes in a 26x2.30 only, and not seen it sold wider than that anywhere online.

If possible when you are in tomorrow can you confirm the size of the tyres on the bike? Because a 2.30 tyre opens up a lot more options for those who want a tyre more suited for road use, as I feel this would make the Fatbike the superior commuter over the MTB if mainly used on the road. Especially with the rack, mudguards and torquey motor already on there, as well as the option for 15AH.
I don't know much about rims and tyres and what sizes you can get away with however, but something like this seems good for commuting:

http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bike-parts/bike-tyres/schwalbe-big-apple-reflex-bike-tyre-26

Which comes in a 2.35
