They're supposed to remove people from the voting register when they die, not every 4 years! They haven't been removing anybody. Hello!
Not removing dead people from the electoral roll is indicative of incompetence and /or laziness among public servants, or the negligent failure of relatives to notify the authorities of deaths. It does not of itself indicate an electoral conspiracy. If these identities are misused - it can only be on a tiny scale.
For this matter to be a conspiracy, it would need to be taken advantage of with nefarious intent - either by individual family members, or by a cabal of public officials arranging for criminals to impersonate the dead. For this to happen on any scale that could affect the outcome of an election, it would need massive organisation and total secrecy. I dread to imagine what draconian sentence in the USA such a conspiracy would bring if uncovered, and uncovered it would be - for sure. Also, who is to say that such criminality would only be used by one side and not the other?
My bet is that this is just another boring, MAGA ruse to create public distrust in the election, or perhaps a plot got up by the Russian troll factory in St Petersburg . Either way - the story is intended to con the stupid or the mad, with the aim of bringing democratic institutions into disrepute. Of course - this is a thing that Trump has done repeatedly.
Trump is the greatest liar that has ever presented himself as a candidate in any democratic state that I have heard of. He barely opens his mouth EVER without a bare faced lie coming out of it within thirty seconds.
I say this as a person with no fondness for the candidate that is standing against him and as a person who is not in any way a natural supporter of the Democratic Party. In that, I am like Dick Cheny - the one time VP of G W Bush - a staunch Republican, a man like many other Republicans who have come out against Trump as a wholly unworthy and disreputable candidate. Cheny and his daughter the one time senator, recently suggested that people should vote for Harris.
When very prominent Republicans like them stand out and say they will not vote for Trump, and when people who were key figures in his previous administration are denouncing Trump as wholly unfit for office on grounds of character and competence, you must know he is a dangerous individual.
