Eating animals is eating animals.
We have some strange schizophrenic reactions to the eating of certain kinds of animals.
If you are happy with people eating sheep, or cows or pigs, why not dogs?
You can't really say - 'Ah but dogs and cats are intelligent,' because pigs are reckoned to be at least as intelligent as dogs and are far more intelligent than cats, but many meat eaters are happy enough to eat them.
The point about Trump's focus on this, is that people who really ought to know like the Republican governor, Dewine, and the police chief in Springfield are saying that the group Trump has singled out, are NOT eating pets. The weird, mentally ill woman shown above is just that - mentally ill, but anyway - she was born in Ohio and went to school in Ohio, and finished her schooling in Ohio in 2015, but Trump has repeatedly asserted that this is a big deal among migrants, which is just another of his trashy memes and is demonstrably false.
My concerns about Trump having any power at all are all around the fact that he is a notorious and very frequent liar. Once he utters a lie, he just keeps on and on and on pushing that lie. Maybe it was a mistake he made and not a deliberate lie, but he will never stop and correct it.
This is a really terrible problem in somebody with power. I am also very concerned at how much he admires dictators and those close to dictators. He was prepared at the last election to try to hold onto power when any rational human being knew he had lost the election. It is incredible that he did that, but he did.
It tells you something when prominent Republicans like Dick Cheny, who was Vice President under GW Bush, have come out and announced that they are going to vote for Harris.
