Wiki was bought out by left wing extremists and now is used to malign anybody that goes against their agenda so that the wiki page can be laundered to do hit pieces on them. Even the founder has called them out as just propaganda and said that it's no longer trustworthy.

Actually, left wing is no longer correct. It's big corporations, sponsored politicians and their activists, which 20 years ago would have been called right wing. Left wing used to mean working class or for the masses, but now every agenda works against them, and anybody that supports the working class is called right wing. How did that happen?

Lithium discovery in US volcano could be biggest deposit ever found

"An estimated 20 to 40 million tonnes of lithium metal lie within a volcanic crater formed around 16 million years ago. This is notably larger than the lithium deposits found beneath a Bolivian salt flat, previously considered the largest deposit in the world. "

Zinc-Air Batteries: A Cheaper, Safer Alternative to Li-ion Batteries
New research shows batteries built from zinc and air could be the future of powering electric vehicles.

Zinc batteries that offer an alternative to lithium just got a big boost
The US Department of Energy just committed a $400 million loan to battery maker Eos.

New catalyst decreases the energy required to split hydrogen gas from water
Creating an affordable catalyst that lowers the activation energy of both reactions reduces overall manufacturing costs and improves the commercial viability of clean hydrogen gas production.

Incremental improvement but not changing the fortune of hydrogen. I cannot see generalised use of hydrogen though. Leaky pipes will add so much cost of distribution for the foreseeable future.

We won't be able to unsee the horrible mooning wars:

We need to be first on the Moon, uh, again, says NASA
'I don't want China to get to the south pole with humans and then say: this is ours, stay out

I guess the "Trolly Bus", phased out eons ago doesn't seem such a bad idea now for city wide transport. Better than the current crop of E-Buses charged by diesel generators...

Every new electric car makes it more likely that we'll get winter power cuts until we get our new Chinese nuclear power stations. It's made worse by some of our existing ones going offline before then. Get your battery and/ solar panels now if you want to watch TV next winter.
