Downed for "recycling"?
This does beg the legitimate question, how long will these things last? From China's pedal cycle graveyards to Euro's wind turbine props hidden away in some disused farmers field. However given the global need for growth the original motivations for renewables was merely a process of wealth extraction from the state. And to quote Eminem, "hey there's a concept that works" after reading headlines that indicate higher prices for Gas/Elecy this winter in the UK, I fear my predications from last winter may come to pass.

Broke 2022, installed 2008, maintained by "experts". How many years do they last again?

Earlier geared ones needed more costly maintenance but todays direct drive ones are very cheap to run and in most cases very long lasting, decades.

It's not generally known but the USA was the world leader in wind generation from 1940 on, and with eighty years experience is still a major player in that field.

Apparently, one can have too much blow!
This is 3 yrs old, how many more?
Oops, power cut again, bye. ;-)
So a couple broke!

There are now almost 11,500 wind turbines in the UK: Onshore there are 8,827 turbines on 2,604 farms. Offshore there are 2,652 turbines on 43 farms.

Notable in the headlines is the cyber attack on the Electoral Commission.
Government's cybersecurity is a joke, the apologies from the Electoral Commisioner is just not serious enough. It's OK because there is no risk to the results of future elections. I wonder what Nigel Farage and about 28 millions of other voters would say about that.

" The Electoral Commission declined to provide information on whether it knew how many times its systems had been accessed during the 15-month period "

What that means is that they're (whoever they are) are planning to cheat in the next election, like they did in the last two USA elections, like they did in Brazil, and like they always do in China. They need voter information to be able to do it.
