One bit of news about price of EV batteries: price comes down to 51 dollars per kwh. Incredible.

Not so, the reducing prices have enabled us to switch more rapidly to electric buses at lower running costs, just like the Chinese have done. They've made it easier to cut the new car costs too, at the ideal time just as the natural demand for e-cars slackens as those ideally suited to them reduce in numbers.

"Carbon Offset" scam is exposed for all to see.
And it was tv reporters doing it, not government!
Can we see the NASA "shatellite" pics from Amazon deforestation of all those "Carbon Capture" trees?
When the water rises to the point it's lapping at your toes, I reckon you'll be amongst the first to scream at the government 'What weren't we warned ?'

This critical ecosystem helped keep climate change in check. Now it’s making things worse.
Wildfires have turned the Arctic into a net carbon emitter. That’s bad news.
"The frigid Arctic tundra has soaked up carbon dioxide from the atmosphere for millennia, an essential balancer for our planet’s climate. Now, it appears to be emitting more heat-trapping gasses than it absorbs as global temperatures rise. The switch threatens to amplify warming even further and shows that climate change isn’t always a gradual process, but one that can accelerate with sudden steps. "

and not allowed to run a power cable to is council said no health and saftey same as a wood burning stove but happy to burn all our rubbish and turn it in to electric

It seems you and some of your family are permanently at war with local and national authority, meaning all your difficulties are self imposed and it's really you who is the problem.

If your local authority or the area don't suit you, move. Many years ago I did a number of times in quick succession until I was ideally suited.

If this country or government don't suit you, again move. That's what my sister did when she got fed up with England, so is happier in another country now as a result.

no they have not sold enough electric cars simple as that and get fined for every petrol one they sell as told me this cos taking the pi$$

i cant run a 40m extension lead up the pavement to a car can i as health and safety and not allowed to drive over the grass either as council tenants.

we dont have a country or a government its a corporation and it is all registered on dunn and brad street and company's house or was.

i have put in the right to buy cash but wont have that dumped in reception out me coal sack and have to use a conveyancing solicitor fkn 1800 quid to do what  would not even help me fill in the rtb form

oh and get this the rtb team will not contact the elect roll dept and benefits dep in the same building so that decompartmentalized they could be building a starship in the basement.

plus no one is never there if i send a email ill get a reply 8-9 clock at night 2-3 days later if im lucky and had to do it all with no help as if not done buy the 19th would have lost all of our discount.

plus they have accused us of benefit fraud and asked for proof of 2 month of all our bank accounts yet the rtb team wont take bank statements or benefits letters as proof i have lived here for last 12 months.

they just want 2 utility bills yet how will they check it if dont have bank statements as only have the virgin bill in my name but i can photo shop a mobil bill but never got a reply lool

Renwick doesn't know what he is talking about. He is reading gibberish from a script and he doesn't understand what he is saying. Mickel Bickel likewise does not understand.

There are facts in science - measurable, empirical data, and there are estimates. They ARE NOT THE SAME.

Like some other gasses - in particular water vapour and methane, co2 DOES prevent infra red heat escaping from the atmosphere. Renwick does not believe this because he is an ignoramus.

The greenhouse effect is a certain, real, and measurable fact.

What is NOT CERTAIN, and can only be guessed at, is what impact on the planet the two hundred years of releasing huge amounts of previously fossilised carbon into the atmosphere, will have on our ability to live where we live now and feed ourselves as we do now. WE DO NOT KNOW the impact of this yet.

This human released co2 was previously locked up by biological and geological processes under ground, as oil, methane gas and coal.We have released two trillion metric tonnes of co2 since the beginning of the industrial age and are continuing to release 40 billion metric tonnes each year. The rate of carbon release is increasing exponentially - particularly by China and India which are rapidly industrialising on a huge scale.

The only thing Renwick - who is an obvious fool, should be debating is what impact this will have. We do not KNOW that. We can only make estimates about it.

Personally, I think many of the eye catching slogans we see on this part of the debate are over blown, but there will be effects and we already see effects which are FACTS and are measurable empirically observable changes.
Klimate Karen Kult is full on today, hehe.
Must've touched a nerve? Referring to one's 'Received Opinion' is not science, it's sceance.
No-one (not even the Senator) is disputing the Invaluable Greenhouse Effect of the Atmosphere. We would all be average minus15degC Icicles if the atmosphere were not there.

What he is disputing is the debatable effect of 0.04% co2 in the mix. Citing the Law of Thermodynamics as it applies to Max Planc's Equation for energy of a photon, in E = h v , or since speed of light is constant:
deltaE = h c over lambda (wavelength), re what's needed to raise a co2 molecule by 1deg at different wavelengths, and what effect that has on the other *99.96%* .
Gas Law, one form of is:
T = PV over n R
, shows how Temp is related to Pressure (from gravity), times Volume, over Moles times Rconstant (0.08206 L.atm/K.mol ?).
Phew! That's heavy stuff. Hope I got it right :)
