Woosh sell wooshDo Juicy bike sell these new whoosh bikes?
Woosh sell woosh
Very clever - but do any one else sell woosh? Perfectly reasonable question - presume not (reading between the lines) - wonder if Old_Dave works for Woosh? Titter titter.

OK ta. I'd missed the start of the thread somehow and just spotted Juicy bikes posting, so I assumed they must be selling them. However after looking at the link I'm not sure I could live with one.
Sorry but another attack of new member syndrome! Here we go again - Over the rickety, rackety bridge
Just to point out that I have no connection with Woosh other than I tried one of their bikes and was not only impressed with the bike it self and how it handled, but was even more impressed in what one got for the £.
Buy a Woosh or not, I don't care

Hi Hatti,
Are you exhibiting (bikes, that is) at the Eden Project event in April?
I'd love to try the CD, in comparison to the "Bosh" bikes & KD's Ibex.
Could anyone explain the benefits of this model over say the Sirocco 2? Is the motor in this one proven as no make is specified. I know its not in stock yet so maybe the questions cant be answered yet.
I like the look of both models and the price (since I am a Yorkshire man!)
Dave I've just been searching your posts looking for a thread on this Manifold event, but have only found a couple of references made in other threads, is there a thread I've missed? I was going to send a link of the event to a few friends. I couldn't see anything on your website either.waj1234....we are coming up to the Manifold Trail,Wetton,Peak District, afternoon April 13....sorry thats as close we come to Leeds....the Trail has some wonderful side roads where you will be able to test the hillclimbing abilities of different types of ebikes....lots of advice from other ebikers.
KudosDave
That's interesting. It looks like that motor could be fitted to any bike as a conversion.Sorry waj1234,
I realised late yesterday that I haven't actually replied to this specific question.
The Sirocco 2 will propel anyone who is less than 110 Kgs up a hill with no real problems.
Over that rider weight and there will be issues, and we would recommend the CD version.
Although it costs £100 more, the motor will definitely have have more 'kick', so would also be good for anyone who is not heavy but has a lot of steep hills.
So ...110 Kgs or less and a few hills - Sirocco 2 at £699
110Kgs or less but a lot of steep hills - Sirocco CD at £799
110Kgs or more and hills: Sirocco CD at £799
Of course this generalizes the situation, I know. People lose (and gain) weight and ride in different areas and what to one rider may be a steep hill to another is a gentle slope.
We recommend talking to us before ordering, having a test ride if at all possible, weighing up where you are likely to ride most and where you might ride sometimes.
Despite being heavier (the TCM weighs 4.5kgs), the TCM is better than the Bafang 8-Fun on a number of aspects:
- zero resistance pedaling (without power)
- quieter
- More efficient use of power, extending range in pedelec assist mode.
- Robust construction
