Keeping A Secret

I was passing 50Cycles in Richmond today and popped in for a look at the bikes and had an enjoyable chat with Tim.

I've only had my Tasman for 9 months and it does everything I need from an e-bike but I was sorely tempted to sell it and buy one of the new bikes. No logical reason - I'd like to buy one each of all of them.

In reality, I'll wait at least 18 months before a change but I''ll change simply on the basis that I'm 66 and what money I have saved is gently losing spending power in the bank :(

While I was there in the shop, Tim told me a secret. I told him I'd keep it, so I will but it's a development that will please e-bikers and something I had not thought would be practical on the scale it is for some while.

I'm sure Tim will tell everyone when he has full details.....meantime I shall sit at home feeling smug

Can a bicycle fly? Can a top marque e-bike be sold for 50pence? A 60mph e-bike with a range of 100 miles on one AA battery? A folding e-bike that fits into jacket pocket?

Could it be? Only 2 people know. (I may be exaggerating some of this) ;)

i have 14 AA batteries so i should be able to ride around France next year. Doh.......they are rechargeable so i only need to take about 3

A better bet would be 15a batteries as standard a la Biketech Flyer

Here's a link I found that might help you decide if you should tell us your secret - remember secrets can hurt people, so I think it's best to spill the beans now, if it's a bad secret then at least it will be off your conscience, a secret shared is a secret halved you know, if it's a good secret it won't hurt us....

I shall consult my guru, spiritual advisers and lifestyle coaches. With their minimum fees of £550 each, this is getting very expensive for me

Of course, If I wait, Tim at 50Cycles will tell everyone anyway in a few days

Cold fusion battery in a flask with a lifetime range and a domestic plug in to provide all winter household heating requirements. Am I warm? I hardly thought it was possible.

To comply with the new EU regulations existing ebike owners are to be given new Wispers free of charge in exchange for their old bikes and free battery charging points to be installed on every corner.
