i am running on the latest beta that could have something to do with it why mine is not working correctly

my rack server is near 10 years old and never turned off and never had a virus.

it has had its os drive replaced about 2 years ago.

it did cost 3.5k tho in parts at the time and replaced a power mac pro that cost 5k and never stopped overheating.

And there is the rub.. my pc was about £400 from Aldi abut 3 years ago and has never had a virus or other problems. Keep thinking I might upgrade at some point though but not sure what to.

i could get you all the parts for that mobo but you wont like the price 1 cpu will cost more than ur bikes

tho it all depends what you are using it for as there is no point putting a dragster motor in ur car.

I only use it for our business now.. used to run photoshop when I was doing weddings but have sold most of the photo gear and unlikely to get back into that..

Its all a bit techy.. Probbly just go to PC world and buy one off the shelf. Did that about 8 years back.. Bought a Sony Vaio all in one for £1200. Bag of ****.. threw it on the tip in the end..

man that thing is old more like 25 quid.

my xeon cpus cost over 400 quid when i bought them and now can be had on ebay for 10 quid

so if you bought that mobo and all the rest of it it will cost you well over 20k

and it will lose money every year until it goes in the bin.

with scan you get 3 year no hassle warranty im sure there is something ready made buy 3xs

Not thinking of buying it, just for reference. Mine lasted till guarantee ran out and never really worked well.

i5 or i7 cpu

the size hdd you want ie a 4tb standerd drive will be a lot cheaper than a ssd that size.

do you want 4k video output?

and how big you want it. or a all in one pc.

If you like tinkering macs are not for you, nor do they compare power wise with a pc similar price, whether you build or not.
If you just want a better operating system , simplicity and ease of use, get a mac.

It takes me back to gaming in village halls with other nerds playing doom, unreal tournament and quake. i remember spending over £400 once on a graphics card (god knows what that would be now). Everyone comparing motherboards, processors etc.

its 2tb of memory so 20k and the 24 core cpus are 5k each and id want 4.
