I am not looking at this site anymore. Will delete it from my favourites. It's a shame as I have had electric bikes for years and love talking about them. I was told you have some sad people on here who pounce at everything anyone writes .goodbye and enjoy your bike whatever model you have.

Sorry you feel that way.
It seems to me that when you didn't get the response you expected you went straight on the attack with some rather personal comments.
Surely we can have differences of opinion that are discussed in a friendly manner...[emoji56]

To be honest some of the replies seemed to take glee in bursting the OP's bubble.
The vast majority of people live their bikes and it would be good to recognise that before mentioning any potential problems they should be aware of.
Having said that, the OP comes across as being very similar to a 'smart' member who is on my ignore list

Yes I agree but comments like loosing a family member and the pension reference are a bit out of order, especially as they were not said in a joky way

I don't believe that it is totally 50 cycles fault
They are partially at fault, since they know there are issues, and as far as I am aware, are not doing product recalls to update the software for instance.

Kalkhoff deserve to take a big hit in terms of reduced sales as a result of this. They should be replacing all impulse to Motors with the latest design free of charge.
Completely agreed, the solution should be to upgrade bikes to the Impulse Evo, which does not seem to have many issues reported to date. However, I assume the controller/computer, sensors etc would also have to be changed, so it would be a significant cost and labour to do so.

I don't understand this losing a relative in the war thing, implying SW has something against German bikes? its clear to see that SW owns a Haibike, last i heard Haibike was a german company?
(don't mention the war... i mentioned it once but i think i got away with it)

I'm not actually aware the op has a problem with his bike. On the contrary he has found his perfect bike and is very happy with it . Till he says otherwise maybe the doommongers should be keeping their counsel to themselves or at at least approaching the potential problems in a more conciliatory fashion.
Pictures of samurai swords are just ridiculous and show the poster for what he is. Really understand why many people are being sickened by this forum.

Not on this forum..( smilie)

Surely SW has posted enough "evidence" to get him arrested and locked up without his phone ( or dongle) for a while. Or even commited or something..

OP I tried ThronPro with impulse motor. Was very good, didn't really think any better than Yam Haibike but great all the same.
Went on ride last week with a bloke on same bike as yours, he loved it too. There was nothing in us climbing.
There have been a few reports of issues with both the brose and impulse motors but that's life. My Mondeo should have had knackered injectors 80k miles ago if you believe forums.
Stick with forum. We need more to remind Blow wave he ain't quite sound.
Enjoy the bike.
