Your part of the world is stunning TK, fantastic scenery and the views. Lucky lass having all that as part of your back yard, haven't been in that part of the world for over 40 yrs and was only 8 or 9 at the time so only vaguely remember the area.

If you are riding off road, it's going to be too bumpy mounting an SJ4000 to the bike. A chest mount is a far better option. A second handy hint is that you will find that the mounts move and don't grip. Using some wet and dry or emery cloth, rub the mating surfaces to take the shine away from them. They then hold fine after that.

With the new Hutchinsons fitted, it was time to try them this evening, and whilst the conditions were too dry for them, I have to say that I'm already very impressed. The bike turns so much quicker than it did on the 2.3 tyres, which surprised me, as I didn't really expect this to make any difference. They twitch slightly over loose road stone, but nothing like the horrid feeling that the vigilantes gave as they got older. The grip over dry roots was phenomenal, and I'm expecting the same when conditions turn wet. The climbing ability was also outstanding, with absolutely zero loss of traction whilst going up sections that had me wanting to stop for a rest. It's certainly a promising start for them, and now I just need some wet weather to really try them out.

Izzy, you might need to look into that one a bit harder to make sure that it will work for your set up. Remember that handlebars are tapered and angled, so unless you are going to use it in the centre position, where you were saying that there is no room because of the display, the camera/light will just point off to the side, and being tapered the mount will probably work loose.

I hate adding any crap or accessories to a bike, but the mount that I previously linked to works with both Intuvia and Nyon. I'd rather not have it all, but had to compromise to get the lights pointing forward.

What camera settings are you both using to prevent the shake? I'm crap with this kind of stuff, so any tips appreciated. :)
I use the full HD (1080) and "anti-shake" along with 5 minute segment and HDR (high dynamic range) settings enabled, otherwise settings are left to default.
I'll post up a sample video clip later.

Very good point Eddie and one I hadn't thought out.
However fortunately I have what I think is just enough space to fit the single fastener bracket which should be able to take the front light and mount the camera. 20150913_184603.jpg
