That's good to hear!. My own example of the Rush Trek, "Voyager", was of course stolen last year. Of all the E-bikes I have, or still own, the Rush Trek was the best hill climber of the lot.
The motor fitted was quickly identified by Flecc as that fitted to the EZee Torq 1. What I liked most about the Rush Trek was the very subtle pedelec response, always with me, but never surging ahead in that mad-as-a-box-of-frogs way that so many machines demonstrate.
I have now replaced Voyager with a Tucano Carerra. This is the Spanish cousin of the Rush Trek, excepting the Tucano is fitted with a plain chainwheel as opposed to the torque sensor fitted to the Rush Trek, but still demonstrating the same benign pedelec response of the Rush. This machine was one of those rare bargains that occasionally turn up on Ebay. One year old, confirmed by the Phylion battery date code, £350 plus a 200 mile round trip to collect.
I'm delighted to hear 720cycles will be back on the scene soon, the Rush Trek is a delightful machine to ride and an excellent hill climber
