yes, it's marvelous at riding soft ground, haven't tried anything wider than 2.25" before this. But I actually like it in all (terrain) conditions. I prefer summer season though, the snow is tricky, can be ice underneath

Last weekend I found some rock landscape and played alot, "trial", it was super fun, the Bosch CX gives an extra boost from stand still which was awesome when doing trial

Yes there are eg Dillinger tyres. Can't justify it right now though. It would be fun to have. Maybe next season

More of a pleasing purchase than anything else.

I'm increasingly getting fun out of creating and altering trail sections, and often I just want to alter or change minor elements when out.
With this in mind, and the with the sole intention of doing so, I figured that I required something that is both easy to carry in my back pack, and convenient to use. One early Xmas present.

Being very anal about wood and the finish of, I shall be stripping the handle back, and will then refinish with a more preferred colour and finish. I am very impressed with the overall quality of the tool though, and whilst there is a little free play within the change over mechanism, this isn't going to present any issue to my use, but if it does, then I shall just adjust the tolerance.

I've had one of those for years, it's a great tool.

Started yesterday just east of Eastnor Castle and rode north past British Camp and up to the top of the Malvern Hills. After the overnight rains, the trails were very wet and the 1st photo shows my wife riding through some flooding on the Land Rover Experience track at Eastnor. 2nd pic shows the top of the highest southern hill and 3rd pic the top of the Malvern Beacon with the town a few hundred feet lower, to the right. 40 mph winds at the top meant we didn't hand around up there for long. 13.5 mile trip.

Fairly mild today for a ride out to Polsden Lacey/Norbury park via LH Tower and Ranmore 53.5 miles and 4k+ ascent. Starting to get boggy out there and some deep standing large pits appearing esp along rutted NT tracks.
Only 1 pics of dirty bike.

It's a cheap Lidl jobby, Wittkop Medicus Gel. Quite a few on here have bought them they are quite comfortable.

I think its your use of capitals in roche moutonnee

they are awesome!! I have one on my touring bike, best saddle I've tried. Wait for Lidl to get them in stock again

My rear fender broke (the mount), so I was thinking what to do. Also wanted a carrier. So I thought, why not combine them?

Topeak Super Tourist (non-disc, regular bike). I had to make some extension brackets down there and improvise the fender mounts a little but it fits like a glove now. I'm very satisfied if I can say that myself

Tomorrows project is to cut/make a front mud guard (fork mount) also, then I think I am finished for now.

Oh, I also upgraded the pedals to Saint. These plastic XLC don't last long, not too much grip left now.
