Wow looks great. Not sure about the leg protection, looks a bit incongruous on the diamond frame. Not sure they are that useful.

It does look very nice! Don't forget to pop by the office to show it off! Well Done!

P.S. Is that a scratch on the front fork?! ;)

By the way is that a lock on the rear wheels - I was just wondering as I couldn't find any reference to that on the website. I know the Tasman has the Axa Defender ring lock. Does the Agattu have something similar?

a scratch .. a scratch.. where??

I'll call in to the office when you get back. I'm away week after next so you'll have to wait until the week after that.. By that time you'll probably have your new models out.. and we can compare;)

Yes, the Agattu has a ring lock, but an Abus, not the Axa one that can have a cable locking into it as well. I showed it on page one of my review:

Good news. Yes I remembered something like that but couldn't find it in the specifications.

Very impressive

Good looking machine (I still like my Wave frame though). Now get your waterproofs on and get some miles on it man.:D

I think it looks to much like a mountainbike for my taste.

(I would have to wait even longer than April for a diamond frame instead of the wave frame I ordered)

Here's a picture of Tony Games wave:

It's only the sloping crossbar that gives that appearance though, and that's almost unavoidable with the combination of 28" wheels, sprung seatpost and smallish 49 cm size.

Beat me to it!

Here's one our photographer produced this afternoon - I asked him to match the style of Kalkhoff's own photos and he did us proud

It really is a great looking machine.

Tom

Can I put in a request that you specifically comment on the gearing following your first ride. I think there are quite a few people considering rear sprocket mods and it will be interesting to hear your thoughts.

Cheers
Paul

The bike looks FAB !!!
And its also so nice to hear some excitement and positive feelings coming from the forum, rather than us all being grumpy (me the worst).
Feels like, im sure, when we got your first bike on Christmas Day.

Bring on the Pro-Connects Santa (50cycles) ASAP.

Good wishes,

Bob
