March 28, 200818 yr Wow looks great. Not sure about the leg protection, looks a bit incongruous on the diamond frame. Not sure they are that useful.
March 28, 200818 yr Great stuff, Music. At last, at last! Bet you're over the moon. And how good it looks. You must be one the first if not the first in England! Have lots of fund in spite of the weather.
March 28, 200818 yr It does look very nice! Don't forget to pop by the office to show it off! Well Done! P.S. Is that a scratch on the front fork?! FrankC
March 28, 200818 yr By the way is that a lock on the rear wheels - I was just wondering as I couldn't find any reference to that on the website. I know the Tasman has the Axa Defender ring lock. Does the Agattu have something similar?

I'll call in to the office when you get back. I'm away week after next so you'll have to wait until the week after that.. By that time you'll probably have your new models out.. and we can compare;) BW Tom musicbooks

Does the Agattu have something similar? Yes, the Agattu has a ring lock, but an Abus, not the Axa one that can have a cable locking into it as well. I showed it on page one of my review: http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/flecc/images/abuslock.jpg

March 28, 200818 yr Very impressive Good looking machine (I still like my Wave frame though). Now get your waterproofs on and get some miles on it man.
March 28, 200818 yr Good looking machine (I still like my Wave frame though). Now get your waterproofs on and get some miles on it man. I think it looks to much like a mountainbike for my taste. (I would have to wait even longer than April for a diamond frame instead of the wave frame I ordered) Here's a picture of Tony Games wave: http://www.axst45.dsl.pipex.com/bike/tautag/images/tautag%203.JPG Edited March 28, 200818 yr by Erik
March 28, 200818 yr I think it looks to much like a mountainbike for my taste. It's only the sloping crossbar that gives that appearance though, and that's almost unavoidable with the combination of 28" wheels, sprung seatpost and smallish 49 cm size. .
March 28, 200818 yr Uuuuuuuuhhhhh (froths at mouth) , roll on Monday when mine arrives! i'll be blogging away about it when it does.....
March 28, 200818 yr Beat me to it! Here's one our photographer produced this afternoon - I asked him to match the style of Kalkhoff's own photos and he did us proud http://www.50cycles.com/images/kalkhoff/khagattuhe630498.jpg

March 28, 200818 yr It really is a great looking machine. Tom Can I put in a request that you specifically comment on the gearing following your first ride. I think there are quite a few people considering rear sprocket mods and it will be interesting to hear your thoughts. Cheers Paul
March 28, 200818 yr The bike looks FAB !!! And its also so nice to hear some excitement and positive feelings coming from the forum, rather than us all being grumpy (me the worst). Feels like, im sure, when we got your first bike on Christmas Day. Bring on the Pro-Connects Santa (50cycles) ASAP. Good wishes, Bob

April 5, 200818 yr As promised..Enjoy BW musicbooks:) Hi musicbooks! Forgot to thank you for putting the photo up earlier. Your frame size and style is the same as mine which is waiting for me to collect at 50c. However, I am unable to collect until next Sat.(12th). So I console myself by regularly clicking on the photo of your bike and having a look before scanning the posts on the forum. We have had a couple of pleasant days weatherwise, so I expect you have a few more miles on the Agattu by now, am I correct? Regards, StrangeFish
