Looks likely to be a long road to regaining full range of movement etc. How is the physiotherapy going? Unfortunately, I don't know much about this stuff other than you've got to keep at it.

I find making noises/music is a good distraction/outlet.

You're gonna need a bigger boat house. Or exact dimensions and a 3D jigsaw solver to fit them all together to make walls to make a bigger house to store more of them in... until you need to do all that again to make an even bigger house...

Has the swelling reduced yet? Would be a good idea to check with your doc before doing the following of course. This really helped reduce the Plantar Fasciitis inflammation I had on both feet: Where there are no breaks in the skin, I use Ibuprofen gel, because it's absorbed through the skin, rather than have to be processed much by internal organs; can't damage them. A good trick is to apply loads of the ibuprofen gel to the area, then prevent it drying out, and to increase absorption sellotape cling film on top, and keep it all there for two hours. Dead skin will fall off for a few days afterwards, after which you can apply it again. That really does reduce swelling like mad, also reduces pain. You can buy large packs of 5% and 10% etc. Ibuprofen gel on ebay cheaply.

Take too many synthetic opioids at once and you'll pass out, then wake up suffocating because you breathing won't restart, then it'll eventually be lights out for good.... but only after ages and ages while you feel agonising pain in various organs such as kidneys, while you lie there paralysed. It's bloody addictive stuff which causes all sorts of other problems, use them only when necessary, reducing use slowly over time as you recover.

I've used self-hypnosis for extreme pain before. I can't go into details about the very serious injury but it really worked, and much too well  It worked so well, I ended up back on the operating table again, and too late! Days late! I would have got there sooner if I hadn't hypnotised myself to not feel the pain, and I lost a lot of necessary flesh as a result. They kept me in hospital for almost a week. The scars are hidden under my leather jacket.

Even if the Ibuprofen gel treatment I've written about above doesn't work to dull pain on your weird bodily biochemical setup, it'll work to reduce inflammation, speeding up healing. Cheaper at Poundland, when they have any in stock, for a pound. And 50g too, not 35g:

Someday that form of thin LED strip will be bright enough to stick/bolt onto my Oxford lollipop, if bright enough for daylight use. The extra weight could cause issues though... waggles a lot already, but it's lightweight waggling, and that waggling is useful for visibility. Too much heat will make the lollipop droopy.

you may have to install latest windows update right away. Google up CVE-2024-38063.

Microsoft has released its August 2024 Patch Tuesday update to address 90 security vulnerabilities. The update includes fixes for six zero-day flaws actively exploited across various products and services, such as Windows, Office, Azure, Dynamics, and Edge.

Have you heard of NFCGate? There is a malware that uses NFCGate to clone your card.

Features
  • On-device capture: Captures NFC traffic sent and received by other applications running on the device.
  • Relay: Relays NFC traffic between two devices using a server. One device operates as a "reader" reading an NFC tag, the other device emulates an NFC tag using the Host Card Emulation (HCE).
  • Replay: Replays previously captured NFC traffic in either "reader" or "tag" mode.
  • Clone: Clones the initial tag information (e.g. ID).
  • pcapng export of captured NFC traffic, readable by Wireshark.
